What Makes the Sagacious King Solomon Unable to Resolve ProblemsAnymore?

The biblical King Solomon was perpetually overflowing with glittering ideas. He was himself a repository of wisdom. His sagacity could neither be measured nor confined to any one space or problem. It did become, and has always been, the subject of household discussion throughout the four corners of the world. He never ran out of solutions consonant with both intricate and limpid problems. The lightning speed, at which he resolved issues of injustices brought before him and his court with impartiality and astuteness, was exceptional that it very much became a benchmark. The supposed present day King Solomon of Ghana has of late been baffled by lucid problems. He has been limping from one unresolved problem into another. This indicates how faltered he has been in his imitation of the shrewdness of the biblical King Solomon. Many are those that were once mesmerised by his wisdom. Their appraisal of him was conformant to that of his biblical peer. But for unexplained reasons, his once judicious problem-solving expertise is deserting him. It is gradually but progressively fading into oblivion. This could be the overwhelming difference between these two intellectually renowned kings. Their similarity of womanising as documented or otherwise observed is indistinguishable. Sexual misconduct never became an obstruction to the delivery of justice by the biblical King Solomon despite him having numerous wives and concubines. Sexual immorality has become an impedimental deciding factor lopsidedly tipping the balance in favour of the one able to give maximum libidinal gratification to the current King Solomon. This is conclusively made obvious by the Kumawuman chieftaincy wrangling brought before his court for adjudication where the queen is his girlfriend. The case has derisively been left pending for the past two years owing to the dilemma in which he inextricably finds himself embedded. It is overt throughout Kumawuman that the paramount throne belongs in the family of the Ananangyas and the Odumases. It is also an open secret in Kumawuman that the queen is his girlfriend, according to the whining of the horse herself. He therefore finds it difficulty declaring judgment although the lying Wurukye has been vividly exposed in her lies. Does he announce the truth as it stands now or he lies in favour of the queen for enjoying free but expensive sex?

There is an ongoing Kumawuman chieftaincy disputation involving three royal or purporting royal families over who should be enthroned, or, is eligible to be installed as the succeeding paramount chief to the demised Barimah Asumadu Sakyi II. The sitting Kumawuman queen being the obvious proverbial pot which continually sits on fire turns round to accuse the kettle which seldom does, of being black. Literally, the pot suffers the brunt of the soot emitted from the cooking fire. The progressive collection and concentration of escaped soot onto the walls over a period of time corrupts the painting of the kitchen walls. It turns it into black regardless the original painting. Paradoxically, the pot which absorbs a greater portion of the soot is telling the kitchen walls you are darker. Which one in your opinion, my noble reader, is darker, the pot or the wall? The queen, who is analogically the pot, and is not from any absolutely elegant, but a subservient background, has the guts to accuse those from the noble background of being slaves. Presuming the nobles are of same inferior or slave background as she, one deceased Madam Dwentua of blessed memory from Kumawu would have shrewdly resolved it as following.

She once sought to resolve a similar case where a family that has been co-opted into another family of royal background had desired to usurp the throne when it did become vacant. The co-opted family had their great grandmother who had passed not long ago, spotting conspicuous facial tribal marks identifiable of a Northerner. They as the sitting Kumawuhemaa, accused their host royal family of rather being slaves. Here is where Madam Dwentua chips in saying, "Se nnonkofo3 mmienu hyia a ye w3 donko panyin". By this, she literally meant to say, "In disputation where each accuses the other of being a slave, at least among the two supposing slaves, there is an elder slave". The host slave is always to be accorded the respect and right for being the older. The co-opted member, thus, the bad-mouthing guest slave, is always the younger. Who then by the Asante tradition should be accorded the right of claim in such situations, the older or the younger person; the host slave or the visiting slave? My dear reader, your intellect will guide you to make the right judgment on the posed question.

The Kumawuhemaa never ceases to amaze me. Being ignorant but loquaciously arrogant, she is always making irresponsible statements simply as a matter of showing off. In her most recent vaunting, she is alleged to have made some funny statement as, "MedeE me twe ani mabro, adi aboame". Such a statement is always directed at teasing ladies who unfortunately are infertile, are unluckily into acrimoniously perilous marriages and, or, are less wealthy. Having said this, one may correctly conclude that her fondness for sexual gratification is in accord with a statement in the prolific writer, Salman Rushdie's novel, "The Moors". It says, "Your future prospects lies between your legs, concentrate on making your husband happy and butt out your elders' businesses". She also never stops showing off mentioning the supposed prominent persons she goes out with. She behaves like a young student girl who has just been introduced into relationship for the first time. She is always head over heels in love with men, behaving like a tart. She is compromising her dignity by such untoward statements unfamiliar with responsible queens. I wonder how sexually succulent Otumfuo finds her. What has he done to her that makes her unable to let go his name when discussing her shameful immoral relationships. She should know that whatever transpired between them sometime ago is gone and past. It is all history unless they still arrange secret sexual rendezvous behind the back of Otumfuo's courteous and responsibly well-informed wife.

She has been running her mouth saying Otumfuo can never pronounce a ruling against her in the ongoing disputation about who is to succeed the late Barimah Asumadu Sakyi II as the Kumawuman paramount chief. What makes her certain about an eventual verdict going in her favour? Is it for the fact that Otumfuo was, or, is enticed by the sweetness of their sexual intimacy? Truly, "the sweetness of the pudding is in the eating". Or, is it for her nonsensical threats to expose Otumfuo for what he may have, and may not have done? She says and I quote, "Kwaku Duah ennwua ben na 3gyina so a 3betumi abua asem no?" She has verily as suggested by Salman Rushdie exploited over and beyond the unlimited potentials of her diamond-endowed immovable and unshrinkable mine located in-between her legs. The exploration and exploitation of her gold mine has detrimentally or negatively impacted on the suffering Kumawuman masses. It has in the same vein caused anguish to the wife and family of her late husband, Mr. Adomako of blessed memory. Barely had she entered into marriage with him when Mr. Adomako made a will bequeathing his entire estate to her, and her only. His original wife and children were all cut out of the will. In less than no time, thus, a few years into the marriage, Mr. Adomako passed. What good or bad information does she hold on Otumfuo that is not already known to the public or to the avid researcher on traditional Kumawuman history? His near-criminal life styles as led in Canada and the UK are all history. They are no longer any news. He is a changed person. Is it for this unfounded threat that Otumfuo has been so cowered into delaying the case in favour of the queen?

Never will my endurance and fortitude waver during this long tortuous fight to let King Solomon live above reproach by instilling sense of awareness which he, but deliberately shuns, into his head. Many are those that are disgusted at his nonchalance and callous attitude to the suffering of Kumawuman citizens. He is injudiciously protecting his selfish sexual and material interests. If not, what else is the explanation for his feet dragging on the Kumawuman chieftaincy case? What infuriates most people is the persistent bragging by the queen and the Otumfuo's disrespect for the "Asantehene's Great Oath". Any tactical resort to protocol to persuading the queen to renounce her clench on the paramount throne is as nonsensical as the effort so expended. The solution to the dispute lies in the very oath which is but anathema to Otumfuo. Who does he think to be fooling? A present day King Solomon indeed!!!!!!

Otumfuo's disrespect for the Kumawuman people is similitude of burning bridges. But it says, "Don't burn your bridges behind you. You may need them in future. When the battle becomes tough, and retreat becomes incumbent, one then realises the importance of the bridges that had served your war advances so well earlier on". The fight still rages on until the Asantehene becomes conscious of the fact that sexual gratification is to be eschewed, but not to become a determinant in the ongoing Kumawuman chieftaincy disputation. It must be underlined that the queen and her Ankaase family are not the true royals of Kumawuman. Otumfuo had better consult knowledgeable Kumawuman citizens to ascertain the truth of my claim. It has come to my attention from those snitching on all the royal factions that some unscrupulous people think I am a paid agent of a particular royal family. Those holding onto that line of thinking are sick in the head. I am once more and for the final time saying, I am doing what I am doing in the interest of Kumawuman and also as a vessel carrying God's message across.

For how long will people be sitting on their laps doing nothing and yet, have that shameless audacity to call themselves the prominent citizens of Kumawuman? A queen and the Asantehene are taking you and your people for fools yet you sit in the comfort of your enclave thinking otherwise. Your compatriots are dying in their numbers owing to the evilness of one or two persons. But as it is not too close to you, you may think all is well and that absolute patience must be exercised. One who sits dripping from the mouth thinking it is better for things to take their natural course is less worthy. Prominence requires that one is able to bend fate to suit him. Can it be seen from whichever object you view things that the Asantehene and the queen are taking you for big-time fools? And yet, you call yourselves prominent. Prominent indeed!

The liberation fight continues unabated. "It's not over until it's over"
