The minister of education and Adisadel college

(ADISCO)
As a nation we have failed terribly, because we never seem to learn from our mistakes. Every nation’s development is dependent on the ideas espoused and the practicalities the ideas are put to. The psyche of our leaders is a problem that must be a bother to all of us and needs solution. Until then we will be moving in circles. I am compelled to come to this unproven conclusion because of the ‘psyche’ of our people led by the POLITICAL leaders. I say political leaders because every position being held by someone at anytime, anywhere in this land is probably not given on merit but because a certain authority made sure that person became the boss irrespective of his/her background. There is so much insincerity in the system such that we seem to be overwhelmed so “let everybody do what can be done.” Why do l say so? Not long ago, in December 2013 the former headmaster of Adisco retired but five months on, there is no substantive head in this once great school. One would have thought that three months before his retirement the Ministry of Education would have done their homework but no, it seems the plan was to allow him to stay on, at least by the utterances of the equally incompetent former Board Chairman and now former Anglican Bishop of Cape Coast. They schemed and schemed until the stupidity of the former headmaster made their grand designs fall flat, going public with his ill-gotten wealth ostensibly to show how successful he’s been in cheating parents to make himself somebody. It is a crime to steal in this country; it is also stupidity at the highest level to behave the way that fool of a headmaster brought the name of the school into negative limelight.
Now five months into 2014, there is no headmaster in this school but an unfit bootlicker whose main agenda now is to make her own quick money before a new headmaster comes in. How is it being done? ‘RENOVATION GALORE’. Every place is being renovated but ask of the cost of renovation for one bungalow and one will marvel. I can’t imagine that people never seem to learn from the past. What was forced through the mouth is not down the throat but somebody thinks it is time to make her own. No wonder she has started her own building. Headmaster y3d3 papa! These things have become the norm because nothing happens and indeed nothing will happen. Now, Ministry of Education let me sum it up for you, This is G.E.S speaking, “people of our motherland after thorough investigations it is our view that the former headmaster of Adisadel College did no wrong. He is therefore free to go and enjoy what he worked for.” Why hasn’t anyone given us information on the malfeasance of the leaders in the society? When EOCO spoke to the wrong people in the school, there wasn’t going to be any headway. The thief put people who can protect him in place before leaving office. I think he’s had enough time to correct the rot he created. Ghana dey bee k3k3.
In the course of last term, the students were made to sign a form for items which parents had paid for but were not supplied over a year. Those items came to be supplied only when EOCO asked for clarification on the matter so the boys were ‘rushed’ to sign the so-called requisition book. This is the benefit of putting the wrong people at the right place so that those wrong people can protect the out gone ‘angels’. This is what is going on in this school, covering the corrupt past of that administration. The system is so porous that without a headmaster things will get out of hand before it is too late. The GES should act in quickly for a stitch in time saves nine. No nine no Ten.
