T.I.A - Nigerians, Stop!!!! The Jingoism

The last thing I ever wanted to do is to cast a slur on any country or persons, let alone a “man of God”, but unfortunately my patience has wore so thin and I have no option than to go on an all out assault to put some things in their right perspectives.

One doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that Nigeria is far bigger than Ghana in size but that notwithstanding, Ghana is in my estimation a far better country in almost all aspects of socio-economic and political wise than Nigeria. This fact has been ignored by our Nigerian friends for some time now and they delude themselves into believing that being bigger is synonymous to being better.

When the French president advocated for the expansion of the G8 to G13 excluding Nigeria, little did he know that he was leaving himself at the whipping ends of Nigerian’s tongues.

Instead of carrying out internal self check to unravel the cause of their exclusion, they went a crusade of vilification and name calling against the French president.

The extent to which Nigerians demonstrate hegemony and classically practice political jingoism defies normal human comprehension. The grandeur with which they carry themselves about even though their bragging rights are hard to find is laughable.

I am completely ashamed at the amateurish mentality of Nigerians where they believe that the size of a country makes the country powerful. Even if that analogy is anything to go by, why have they not been able to select at least twenty two (22) talented young men out of over one hundred million people to play their national teams? That really goes to tell the caliber of people that make up the over hundred million so called population. Is it not shameful that just a state of Warri could plunge the entire country into chaos where millions were massachered in the full glare of the public? Nigerians either living in Ghana or in Nigeria have made various uncomplimentary comments about the country Ghana and it’s people for far too long without any justifiable cause.

There was the instance where the R&B duo, P-square once said at the Ghana music awards that, their song was more popular than the Ghanaian National Anthem. Such a silly statement went un-rebuffed.

Even Bob Marley’s song could never have been more popular than any country’s National Anthem so how could these twins make such an unguided statement? Then came recently, the most unprophetic impersonation by “Prophet” Temitope Balogun Joshua that, he issued explicit instructions to the satellite skipper Dede Ayew which greatly enhanced their chances in winning the U-20 world cup in Egypt.

I first of all wish that TB would revisit the meaning of his names (Temitope-Enough to give thanks) and Balogun (Commander of the army).

I think that he should be grateful to God for where He has brought him so far to the extent that he even owns a private jet and a TV station (Emmanuel TV) and decease from being the commander of the army of Satan where he spreads falsehoods and perpetrate deceit.

I am in no way expressing xenophobic sentiments but the facts would have to be made clear.

T.B Joshua ones answered a question on why he is a vegetarian and this is what he said:

"I was not born a vegetarian. In fact, when God sent me on this mission, I realized that my work is tedious. I will refer to John 5:37: (And the Father who sent me hath borne witness to me, His Voice you have never heard, His form you have never seen)

In a week I deliver contrary spirit carriers (Ogbanjes), witches and wizards (about 1000 of them). They are not ordinary human beings. Some are half human and half fish. So if you eat fish you can not deliver them.” First of all, no one is born a vegetarian so I really don’t get the trajectory and bearing of his answer.

Secondly which part of the Bible forbids Christians from eating fish? I am fully convinced that T.B Joshua is a shaman. Unfortunately this man is almost gradually becoming an albatross on the neck of this country and the earlier we shed him off the better for us.

It is also ridiculous and ludicrous that coach Sellas Tetteh would give much credit to this man to the clear disregard of the great effort of the likes of Adiyia and others.

I am envisaging a time when every effort would be credited to a man of God somewhere.

This practice would stifle innovation and kill initiatives. Where are the “Men of God” taking us to?

T.B has so far scored two golden points with his tricks.

First, it was the election results he is claimed to have predicted. Now it is the satellite’s victory.

I just hope he would not wake up one fine morning to tell the whole world that, he foresaw our oil discovery.

My main concern now is that, TB should help the Nigerian Senior National team in the selection of their players for any National assignment and also predict the goals that would be scored. Should he fail in any, it is my suggestion that he be subjected to severe flogging for deceit and false prophecy.
