Screams

File photo File photo

I wandered lonely as a boy
The forest pink and green
Somebody called my name,
from a loud scream

That’s when I realized it was
It was a gurgling creek.
A high-pitched scream, and
more screams, but
they all sound the same

A shadow staring at me
from an angle.
A scream from me
I had no signal.
I ran to the road.
Where I could get some,
but he already caught me,
so I gave a scream

Then I realized it was all a
dream.
