We by this statement retract and apologise for any harm the publication may have caused Mr. Lord Commey.

We publish below a rejoinder by the Director of Operations at the Presidency, Lord Commey.

RE: Mr President wake up, Lord Commey is collapsing your government

My attention has been drawn to a defamatory publication on your website about me under the above headline and I want to put it on record that I am highly offended by the publication and I demand an apology and retraction.

The article supposedly written by a certain “Mawuko Quashigah” without any evidence or justification blatantly described me as a criminal and raised several fictitious allegation on my person.

I am not engaged in criminality, touchwood, and I shall continue to comport myself within the laws of the country as expected of my maker.

Once again, I demand an unequivocal apology and retraction of the defamatory publication.

I will continue to serve the government of President Akufo-Addo and the People of Ghana honestly as I have always done and anything that will seek to damage the integrity of President Akufo-Addo, I will fight it.

Thank you.

Lord Commey
