Rejoinder: Bawku youth root for Mallam Umar

The attention of the Bawku Central NPP Youth wing has been drawn to a purported research conducted by unknown selfish group of individuals and published by online portals, facebook and whats app platforms to the effect that, the youth of Bawku preferred Mallam Umar as the MCE for Bawku Municipality.

The Youth wing wishes to state emphatically that no such research or whatsoever has been conducted and there's no such common view to that effect upon taking an opportunity to meet with the youths in the township to clarify the misleading information in circulation. Both aged and young people of 18 and above were interviewed at their various destinations; some on streets, worksites, youth sitting base and others in their homes, the aged people especially.

We therefore wish to humbly appeal to Ghanaians and the Youth of Bawku to treat such imaginative, programmed and well embellished propaganda so called research, with the greatest of contempt it deserves.

We call on the Youth in Bawku to remain calm and continue to trust the judgement and competence of His Excellency, the President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
