Red Cards In Parliament Not For Mills, But For Nana Akuffo Addo

– Part 1

The NPP Minority Caucus issued numerous Red Cards to President Mills on 16th February, 2012 in Parliament when he went there to deliver the State of the Nation Address. These vengeful losers in the Minority were not ashamed for telling President Mills that his time was Up, and that was why they were in a State of Mourning by wearing Red and Black attire because of the alleged abysmal performance of Mills in controlling the affairs of the country over the past 3 years for which Ghanaians should show him the exit during the December 7th elections this year. Oh! I see. 1) When the NPP under Ex-Prez. Kufuor took over power from Ex-Prez. Rawlings in January, 2001, didn’t he use his first 3 years to intimidate, persecute and dismiss all known or perceived NDC members from their jobs in the Public and Civil Service throughout the country? 2) Did he not manipulate the Judiciary by packing it with Pro-NPP judges who passed illegal Judgments throughout his 8 years in office? 3) Did he not make several attempts to assassinate former President Rawlings but failed? 4) Did Kufuor not drag Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings to court for 8 solid years and confiscated all the legally acquired landed properties and vehicles belonging to the 31st December Women’s Movement? 5) Did he not use a line telephone to illegally import Peugeot vehicles and oil from Sahara Oil Company in Nigeria without passing it through the normal Parliamentary procedure in 2003? 6) Did Ex-Prez. Kufuor not issue instructions to all the instruments of the Executive branch to do every thing possible to destroy the 31st December Women’s Movement but failed? 7) Did the NPP not take over the country peacefully and started with vengeance, non-co-operation with the then NDC in Opposition throughout their 8 years by bragging that the NDC will never come to power again which led to the division of the country? 8) Did Ex-Prez. Kufuor not send his un-official Spokesman, namely Kwaku Baako Jnr. with a diplomatic passport to travel round all the European countries including Africa to search for alleged stolen monies stuffed abroad by Rawlings and his wife but did not find a a dollar? In fact, the extreme Leniency, humility and Godliness of President Mills towards these bunch of anarchists in the NPP is very, very painful and most unfortunate. By showing him their Red Cards, they are simply telling him that they have no respect for him or the Presidency just because they are not in power, but do they think Ghanaians are blind like the NPP for not seeing the massive developmental projects under taken by Prof. Mills and will therefore show him the exit come December, 2012 or what? The stubborn truth is that the Danquah / Busia tradition which the NPP represent today have only one message for Ghanaians and this is the message: What they want to say and have NEVER been able to say it openly is that they (NPP) must always be in power and not the CPP, NDC, PNC or any other political party because this vicious tribal grouping falsely belief that Ghana belong to them more than any other tribe – How sad. Under Ex-Prez. Kufuor petrol was increased to 100% twice and no one coughed – so the NPP minority must shut their beaks or be exposed. The stock in trade of the Danquah/Busia tradition since 1951 had been Tribal Politics, Militant Leadership, Negative Propaganda. Abuse and Filthy inflammatory language, Bomb throwings and Political Violence and the end results have always been national instability – Those of us who know their history very well dos not blame them because they are educated illiterates who installed several FM Radio Stations across the country and does not want to run their programmes in English which is the official language of Ghana even though they claim to acquire chains of degrees from World First Class Universities.
If they are not in power, whoever is in power must be subverted constantly until he is violently removed, but this time, they lie bad. If they are teasing the President about Mr. Alfred Woyome’s allegedly defrauding of the State and claim that he is the biggest bank roller and financer of the NDC, is it not the same NDC government that caused his arrest and he is now being tried in court? Since when did Ex-Prez. Kufuor ever dismiss or even cause the arrest of any of his Ministers of State for corruption in his Family Cabinet for the whole 8 years that he was in power. Didn’t he tell the world that corruption is as old as Adam and that he will never dismiss any of his ministers in order to destroy his government? As far back as 2000 when the NPP was in Opposition, this was what their illiterate campaign manager now National Chairman of the NPP wrote to the late Major Courage Quashigah, now read on: “The NPP’s objectives of negative election propaganda is to create confusion, low morale, eroded confidence, fear, uncertainty, discord, dis-unity within the opposition NDC Party in order to reduce performance to our advantage. To this end, our propaganda philosophy is that a relentless, sustained and ever increasing psychological effort should be made against the NDC at all places and at all levels to ensure the disorganization and possible break up of the NDC. Our objective is to win the Presidential Elections with 55% of the votes cast and 120 seats in Parliamentary elections. They went ahead and bought 98% of Ghanaian Journalists like bags of maize and they supported them. The Cadres broke away to form the National Reform Party – the NDC lost to the NPP. Today, three years into the Mills’ administration, Some Party Executives have built their own houses and bought cars and will not care if the NDC lost the elections in 2012, the Cadres were totally neglected and have now been asked to campaign for the party again. Are we Voting Machines to be used and dumped always or what?” Don’t we also deserve decent houses to lay our heads? Infact, are Cadres not human beings too? Today, the NDC is turning the GUN against itself from Top to Bottom with several branches dead nationwide and the powers that be, are dragging their feet towards Party Unity. Has the NDC learnt any lessons since 2000 to date at all? The Red Cards shown to the President is rather meant for Nana Akuffo Addo who will eventually die Politically come 2012 and Not, repeat not Mills because we shall crush the NPP at all cost and damn the consequences. The NPP minority in Parliament does not respect themselves, that was why they behaved like class one children in Parliament didn’t Nana Akuffo Addo spent 10 years in Parliament but could not develop Abuakwa South, his own constituency, how can he ever become a President this year and rule the whole country? But for tribal voting, most of these MPs in the Minority Caucus could not be there. There must be ashamed of themselves. So keep your fingers crossed I shall return on this very topic. Is any body listening? I am done. Aluta Continua! Jaanbie Iwaii.
