Our MP’s rating not surprising

The recently released Political Performance Index (PPI) on 309 Ghanaian politicians by the African watch magazine saw some legislators scored an F, among those who scored an F includes the MP of Yilo Krobo, Hon. Raymond A. Tawiah.

A survey conducted over the weekend in somanya, the municipal capital indicates that, the People of Yilo krobo are not surprise about the publication of Africa watch grade F obtained by their MP. Information on the street has it that the MP, Hon. Raymond A. Tawiah is not in talking terms with his own constituency executives and therefore has engaged the services of the old executives to canvass support for him during the upcoming NDC primaries.

A section of the NDC party financiers (mostly women) the reporter spoke to at the somanya market stated inter Alia that, It is sad to see their party losing popularity in its strongest holds in places like somanya, the reason being that, their MP Hon. Raymond A. Tawiah after been in office for two political terms haven’t even been able to resolve the internal bickering within the rank and files of the party, There is big division in the party and they hope the problem is resolved before the next generation election.

They also mentioned that, the only one who has the capability of rebranding and repackaging our beloved party to the people of yilo krobo will be a new candidate with a cross-sectional appeal who doesn’t belong to any of the factions and the bickering in the party.

According to the NDC youth, Hon. Raymond Tawiah is trying to impose himself on them by using the same old dirty road of buying delegates. They posited that, If Raymond Tawiah wins the Upcoming primaries of the NDC; they would be left with no other options than to vote for the NPP candidate in the person of Sgt. Tettey Christian.
