Now that the notorious “Montie FM Mugabe” is behind bars…

His similarly notorious, uncouth and little-minded supporters who are principally NDC faithful are agitating for his release from a four month incarceration.

Is it not said, “If you can’t do the time don’t commit the crime”? Barely had the Supreme Court signalled their intention to hold the Montie FM panellists, Alistair Tairo Nelson and Godwin Ako Gunn responsible for contempt against the Supreme Court, when the host, Salifu Maase alias Mugabe, went on air to spew his usual bushman’s “I don’t fear anything (huuuu)” bravado.

While one of the contemnors had realised his folly for being insolent to, and threatening towards, the Supreme Court judges and had subsequently remorsefully apologised, Mugabe was on air talking his usual balderdash.

Did he not say Nsawam was there for human beings but not animals and that far more important persons than him had gone there so what matters if he was sent there? Did he not mention Tsatsu Ksikata, Kwame Peprah and others for being former Nsawam prison inmates?

Now that he has been compelled to face the reality, he is counting on the President, NDC party and the people of his northern extraction to set himself free. Should I be a bit rude to tell him “naniema kalenkalen”, a phrase we used to express our joy when an obstinate person got entangled in their own evil machinations?

Where is your strength now, Salifu Maase? You thought because you belong to NDC and have the support of the President, you could fool about without restraint. Now, I ask you again, where is your power? You can now run your mouth from your prison if you so wish.

I dare President Mahama to exercise his Presidential pardon by invoking Article 72 to set the murderers in-the-making free as being petitioned or suggested by the trio’s lawyers and the lawless NDC faithful.

You cannot continue to run down the Supreme Court and its judges, threatening to kill them and, or rape them, and expect to go scot free because you have the President of Ghana in your pocket and can manipulate him like a puppet by pulling on a few strings attached to his limbs to do your bidding.

I can only wish these bastards a miserable eventful stay in prison so that when they come back, they will no longer become radio panellists but more importantly, they will not run their big mouths let alone, threatening to kill people.

Salifu Maase thought nothing could happen to him as long as he has President Mahama as his best friend. Little did he know that it takes the tiny crab to kill the huge elephant or it takes the fragile hacksaw to cut through a strong metal or iron?

Let the trio who were walking with their stomach and their employers who were also taking Ghanaians for fools in aspiration of attaining their selfish goals, enjoy their prison terms and fines respectively. It serves them absolutely right!

It is not my character to involve in merry-making at the pains and unfortunate happenings to fellow human beings but to be honest with you, the trio deserve their jail terms.
