New Pressure Group to Support Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP

Katakyie Forms a New Pressure Group to Support Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP

As part of his commitment to his pledge that, he would support and campaign for whoever became the flag-bearer of the NPP after the presidential primaries, Katakyie Kwame Opoku Agyemang, the former National Coordinator of the defunct "Get Alan Kyerematen Elected" (GAKE) has formed a new pressure group to keep his dream alive. As a prelude to the formation of the group, Katakyie recently rendered an unqualified apology to Nana Addo for some of his political utterances in the heat up to the NPP presidential primaries held last year, (2014).

Known as "Patriotic Ambassadors for Peace" (PAP), with the motto: 'Pinpinaa - Nanaaa!', the group draws its membership mainly from sympathisers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and other patriotic citizens who want the best for mother Ghana. The main objective of the group is to help the NPP recapture political power in 2016 through unity, peace, and hard work.

In line with the above vision, the group would be embarking on outreach programmes to canvass for votes for Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP Parliamentary Candidates. PAP would also be educating potential voters on the proper/ best way of voting; expose the corruption, mediocrity, and unfulfilled promises of President Mahama and his NDC. PAP's target groups would be the rural dwellers, disgruntled party supporters, and floating voters.

As you are aware, the road to the Flagstaff House in 2016 has not been easy for the NPP due to some internal wrangling. This makes it imperative for each member of the party to make some sacrifices; and promote discipline in order to make the party attractive to non-party members. The fact still remains that majority of Ghanaians are suffering under the current Mahama-led NDC government and are therefore looking up to the NPP to save them from the hardships. It's PAP's belief that, the suffering masses must not be disappointed for the third consecutive time in 2016.

PAP therefore extends an invitation to all Ghanaians whose livelihood has been negatively affected by Mahama's energy crisis, falling standards of education, high unemployment rate, high cost of living, massive corruption, and rampant squandering of state resources to join the Group without delay. PAP would be having its maiden conference on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Kumasi. Details of the venue and time would be communicated to interested members soon.

In fact, the political benefits that this particular group would offer the NPP in Election 2016 cannot be over-emphasized; therefore, all patriots must not only feel free to call on 0202471070//0264931361 for any question, but also to register in their numbers to champion this noble cause.
