NPPs Osafo Maafo Is Now Endorsing Who?

To all Akufo Addo Cronies out there Alan Never resigned From NPP.

A myjoyonline article dated April 3rd 2009, by Osafo Marfo backs the Nana, Allan ticket .

Yaw Osafo Marfo, Akufo Addo’s Chief policy adviser and his Dan Botwe giddily oppose Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng and also wishes he were not alive today. He is now realizing that the man who has done nothing against them, but has become their political enemy for unjustifiable reasons is now the best man to lead the NPP in 2012 general elections with the combination of his Akufo Addo.

The above mentioned gangsters have tried so many different means to bring Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng down. They have tried spiritually but the almighty God’s hands are upon Alan Kyeremanteng .They could not do what they wanted to do. Alan had a terrible car accident during his campaign for the nomination. My own friend Adusei from New York, who was traveling with Alan, died. As the Bible says in the book of Jeremiah 1; 9 “And they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, said the Lord to deliver thee”

They have tried to destroy Alan. They have harassed and intimidated his supporters even while Alan, demonstrated unquestionable and credible credentials as a party unifier during the December, 2007 NPP Congress. After the inconclusive first round, against the background of a heavily divided electoral college; the NPP Party National Executive and Akufo Addo’s camp including the former national Security Minister Francis Poku pitched against Alan through open manipulation. Amidst an imminent threat of violence, outburst and confrontation, this would have irreparably split NPP. Alan volunteered to step down and offer the candidacy to Akufo Addo in all good faith. Even credible foreign observers such as the Economist Intelligence Unit had occasion to issue a report crediting Alan with saving the NPP from breaking up. Let's be truthful within our Party! Haba!

During Alan's campaign for the primaries Alan was the one who mobilized all NPP Polling Station Chairmen in all 230 constituencies and involved them in the campaign process. Almost all the other candidates only engaged constituency executives; anyone who doubts this should go and check for themselves. Akufo Addo himself will testify to this fact.

Only Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng tried to encourage the build-up of Party structures by facilitating the creation of constituency business ventures. These constituencies could borrow funds from banks and engage in income earning activities. As a result of his good vision for the party now more than half of all constituencies have been successful in this effort.

In July 2008, when the NPP was about to choose their vice presidential candidate I was in Ghana. A majority of NPP supporters wanted Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng on the ticket as vice president. Yaw Osafo Marfo Akufo Addo’s policy Adviser came out openly and said in one of the radio stations that they would never put Alan Kyeremanteng on their ticket. Why? Because they were playing tribal politics .Let me take this opportunity to educate the UP/PP and the current NPP members that they should not forget that it was Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng’s father’s uncle who used his personal wealth to keep the UP/PP tradition intact. During the 1970s, while this Akufo Addo and his uncle William Ofori Attah were the beneficiaries during Kofi Busia /PP administration. The question is what this Akufo Addo has to show for in this UP tradition that he has divided for his own political ambition? Akufo Addo incited a dilemma between the national Security Minister, Francis Poku and Kufuor when Kufour was in office, for his own stupid political interest. For your information to all the so called NPP patriotism suckers like Yaw Osafo Marfo, and others we now know your motives .Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng is a humble man with a greate vision for the UP/PP tradition his ancestors fought for, as do many who share the same vision. He cannot ever work with an arrogant trouble maker like your Akufo Addo. Alan does not need to work with a 70-year-old, a man who does not have the interest of the UP/PP tradition at heart and always orchestrates violence against his political opponents.
