NDC Don't Blame Joy FM: Mills Tell Us about the STX Project

*By Akadu Ntiriwa Mensema, Ph. D.

“Accra, July 7, GNA –[ he NDC] Government on Tuesday asked the management of Joy

FM, a private radio station in Accra to substantiate its claims that the Ghana

Real Estate Developer's Association (GREDA) withdrew its petition against the

STX Housing Project from Parliament because of death threats received by

executives of the Association (Ghanaweb July 7, 2010).

Simpa Panyin Mills

Confused like a snail on Tema Motorway

Rudderless drifting NDC on Korle Lagoon

Vultures of yesterday’s JJ’s dictatorship

Parading as today’s peacocks of democracy

Parrots of anti-foreign-built Jubilee House

Preening Vultures of STX’s housing carcass

Korean-ed STX Housing Project

Appraised by thievery parliamentarians

By slow Mills on Rawlings’ radar

By GREDA another elitist thieves

STX is a fool’s gold

In our paradise lost of resources

Official 10 percent bribe/corruption

10 percent to buy private cars, houses

Parade their cars on pot-holed streets

Put up mansions in unplanned areas

Our collective future is a fool’s gold

In the hands of foreigners

Our $10 billion housing project

Slated for elitist thieves

As pupils go to school under trees

As students use broken-bottle beakers

As doctors use flashlight for surgery

As our old infrastructure crumbles

As our police lack patrol vehicles

Simpa Payin Mills

Of ADZE BONE ABA FIE’s fame

Like a confused snail on Tema Motorway

Knows nothing about STX

So Peace FM should tell us

STX the biggest NDC’s joke

Atta Mills’ worst pungent sore

Of stigmas birthed in Swedru

Tell us about how STX will bring Korean workers

Tell us about how STX houses will go to the elites

Tell us about selling our resources for pittance

Tell us about Indians and the Jubilee House

Tell us about your criticism of the Indian contractors

Tell us about why you like this Korean-based project

Tell us about relegating local contractors

Tell us about all these

Tell it all to Joy FM

So that Joy FM will substantiate

NDC government

NDC foot-soldiers

NDC car-soldiers

Tell us all

Substantiate it all

Koreans will put 200,000 homes

On whose land

Ghana will provide infrastructure

So how will we do it

We lack water, energy, roads, etc.

Koreans will not use local materials

So whose material will they use

Duty-free & tax-free Korean materials

Koreans will not use local expertise

So Korean experts will come

Ghanaians will remain unemployed

Tell us about capital flight

So Koreans will repatriate their profits

Ghanaians will foot all future costs

Tell us about paying the Koreans

How you will pay $ 10 billion loan

Sell our future

Our oil under the sea

Gold, diamond, bauxite

Fish in our waters
