Mahama will soon soar like the eagle

The eagle has some amazing characteristics; traits found in top-notch leaders. I would love to share with you some few major characteristics of this terrific bird.

Fearless: The eagle is very brave and never intimidated by the size of its prey. It can prey on goats much larger than itself. When other birds fly away from the storm with fear, an eagle takes advantage of the current to soar to greater heights.

High-flyer: eagles can fly up to an altitude of 10,000 feet, but they are able to swiftly descend at an astonishing speed of over 100 kilometres per hour and land on the ground safely.

Vision: the eagle has a powerful vision and can spot a prey 50 miles away.

Vitality – An eagle is full of life and has the power to endure.

Besides, the eagle has an interesting way of rejuvenating itself at age 40 when its talons can no longer grab prey, when its beak becomes bent and ineffective; and when its wings become heavy making it difficult to fly.

At this point, it has two options: give up and die, or go through a painful process of change which demands that it knocks its beak against a rock until it is plucked out. It then waits till a new beak grows, and uses the beak to pluck out its talons.

As soon as its new talons grow, the eagle starts plucking its old and heavy feathers; and after five months, it is rejuvenated and lives for another 30 years.

As I was analysing these characteristics of the eagle, I had an interesting revelation about some unique qualities of former President John Dramani Mahama, and my eyes popped out in surprise. The young man from Bole has all the above-mentioned qualities of the eagle and more.

But what fascinates me about this revelation is that like the eagle, the Bole man is going through a painful process of rejuvenation: preparing to come back stronger, more agile, sharper and smarter. He will soon rise and soar like the eagle.
