Letter to God

We’ve come to you once again with another request. We are and continue to be grateful for your mercies and blessings.

God, though you’ve done a lot for us, just like Oliver Twist, we still continue to seek for more.

You gave us a bold, decisive, competent, hardworking, dedicated, incorruptible and above all God-fearing President. In fact God, he is far better than our immediate former president, that of our neighbours like Togo, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin and almost all our African brothers, if not all.

God, he is undoubtedly a man with vision and wisdom. He has implemented several policies and programmes that benefit not just a few but all Ghanaians.

His Free SHS Policy is a game-changer which will transform the country into some 30-50yrs to come. His Planting for Food and Jobs has helped my Uncle in the Nabdam District to transform his house into a cement brick house with aluminium roofing sheets, and has even gone ahead to add a beautiful young wife.

God, let me not bother you with things you’ve been doing through your servant Nana Addo.

Last night, he had his 5th address to the nation ever since the COVID-19 pandemic started in our Country. In fact God, he put out several programs to help fight this pandemic and reduce the spread.

But the special 1 among them which you should have an interest in is his instructions to the Ghana Water Company Limited.

He has asked them to ensure frequent and uninterrupted supply of water and have also absorbed 3 months of the bill. Unprecedented it is. Though I know this doesn’t come as a surprise to you.

My interest is the inability for young bachelors to take advantage of it. We’ve all been in such situation including myself. Sometimes it's like the devil has placed the remaining Pillar Samson couldn’t break on us to prevent us from entering into the bathroom.

God, many bath 1s and some do not at all. The excuses most give is the cost at which water is sold to us.

God, just like you do and continue to do. Please intervene and purify boys heart and mind to make the bathroom our 2nd room in order to take advantage of the Policy by your servant Nana Addo. Make it possible for the likes of Kofi, Kwaku, Twum, Asamoah, Musah, Karim, Abu, Omama and Kwani to bath twice or more days during this time.

I conclude here with unceasing gratitude for your continuous kindness towards us.

Thank You.

Your servant
