Letter From The President: Skin Deep Christianity

Countrymen and women, loyalists and opponents, believers and non-believers,

I first want to congratulate the Right Rev Charles Palmer-Buckle for his ?elevation? to the high office of the Catholic Archbishop of Accra. He deserves it, doesn?t he? I think he does ? even though he served on the Nail Rawlings Completely panel. I am not one of those FOOLS who say that the eminent reverend does not deserve to occupy the position because he?s not a Ga. I?ve been compelled to write against the ethnocentric nonsense some so-called opinion leaders spew out every now and then in Sikaman. I?ve stated that I don?t think any one tribe is superior to all the others in this country. I?ve even gone as far as to humbly suggest to you that for Sikaman to grow, we should all endeavour to learn about the uniqueness of each of our tribes and seek unity in our tribal diversity. I know that some of you are following my suggestion in good faith. I also know that others are not so keen on national integration. These are the tribal bigots who think, for example, that the Catholic Archbishop of Accra should necessarily be a Ga.
