Kumawuhemaa Consoles the Sacked DCE but.......

The most painful thing in the world is to associate with a friend or a person who is
very smiley in the face but unknowingly always being abusive behind your back. What
about when the pot tells the kettle you are black? Hardly had the Kumawu Sekyere
Afram Plains DCE got the sack when he informed Kumawuhemaa. He said, " Nana ya yi
madi oo". He needed reassurance from the person who endorsed him for the post. She
had become the shoulder he cried on.


If the DCE had been up and doing, would he have had that shock of his life - the
sack? No, he wouldn't. The queen did console him as much as she could over the
phone. Had Kumawuman expected him to perform satisfactorily? Yes, they had. But
having been recommended for appointment by the selfishly myopic "sikadicious" queen
and that Kwaku Ananse's son, Tikenenkene Kontrihene, no one really anticipated he
was going to perform any wonders. He had come to grow same hopeless feathers as the
queen and the Kontrihene. Being the birds of the same feathers, they started
flocking aimlessly together.


Many a time had the queen tried to persuade him to at least construct a public car
park for Kumawu, the District Capital of the Kumawu Sekyere Afram Plains district,
she alleges. Anytime a suggestion was made to him about delivering on the
President's "Better Ghana Agenda", he would simply say, "I will do it". It was
always the same "I will do it" response but nothing was actually ever done. No
wonder the queen was secretly happy when he got the boot. My problem with the queen
is about her hypocrisy. She has been squandering Kumawuman's money that could have
been used to develop the area to a limited degree like a snake ("Panpansrada"). Why
then should she giggle, insinuating that the DCE was sacked for being completely
incompetent, a non-achiever or a misfit in his job? Both the queen and the DCE have
been complete liabilities to Kumawuman.


The queen continues to cause harm to Kumawuman by way of her utter intransigence.
She is only holding onto the Kumawu Koduah Stool by the thread of a straw though,
tried as she had. She has outlived her importance and welcome as a guest royal of
questionable background. The more she becomes a stumbling block to the smooth
transition of the throne to the God's Chosen One, the more it is difficult to
develop Kumawuman. She goes out shedding crocodile tears (to show sadness that is
not sincere), moaning that Kumawuman lacks essential development whereas secretly
she loves that, being the one causing the problem. Some stories say that crocodiles
cry while they are eating what they have attacked. They are only shedding false
tears. They enjoy munching every bit of the game. She has no affection for Kumawuman
because she never lived there and never grew up in Kumawu. She is a total stranger
to the environment same as her great grand mother, "Ayo" was hence her lack of
sympathy for the area and its inhabitants.


I wish the incoming DCE, Mr. Asiamah Duffour (unrelated to Dr. Dufuor but part of
the greater Kumawuman Basoah/Dufour family) a success. He has only got one year
before him to perform the magic the former DCE, the queen and the Kontrihene put
together could not perform for years.


No matter what the queen does, the God's appointed One from the Ananangya royal
family will ascend to the Kumawu paramount Koduah Stool, the heritage of his
forefathers. Is Kumawuhemaa also a member of the warrior Tweneboah Koduah royal
family? No, she is not. For how long will the Kumawuman people cower before the
queen who is but a total opportunist and a destroyer? If she had her own way, she
will sell all the lands of Kumawuman and the people within to spend the money on her
numerous boyfriends. Is that the wish of Kumawuman people? Yes, or else you will not
be sitting down without confronting her callous, destructive, and uncompromising
stance head-on.


Lest I forget, the late Kofi Sarpong's burial and funeral comes up on Thursday, 3rd
February 2011 but not on 10th February as wrongly reported somewhere else. Let you
all make it a date to attend. Kofi was the defender of the weak in society. He stood
up tall to be counted while alive and so will he be remembered in death. Kofi,
Damirefa due, Due ne amanehunu.
