Komla dumor: fare thee well

K-Komla Afeke Dumor, the ace BBC broadcaster has been called by his Maker
O-Oh alas, it was painful yet beautiful to behold his charisma and enthusiasm
M-Master of his craft and a great human being
L-Loves his family and all that came to seek his counsel
A-Ah, we thought goon too soon but then we decided to celebrate his achievements

A-Afeke, the symbol of African excellence and a role model for the African youth
F-Friendliness, charming, humility and charismatic were some of his attributes
E-Engaging personality, voice of the voiceless and friends with all people
K-Komla lived his life like the seed that must die in order to leave a lasting legacy
E-Eternity has smiled on Komla, a life well-lived and a personality well-loved

D-Dedicated to his children, a loving husband, hands-on dad, son, brother and friend
U-Understanding the African story and delivering with excellence was Komla’s forte
M-Mother Africa has lost one of her illustrious sons in Komla Dumor
O-Oh death where’s your sting? Komla is no more but his legacy lives on.
R-Rest in peace Komla, you’ll be greatly missed by all.
