Ken Agyapong and Ghanaian Hypocrisy:

Right Sentiment, Wrong Words

This article is going to be brief. I have played the audio tape of Ken over and over and yes, while I agree that he got overly emotional, the tribal accusations leveled against him smirk of pure NDC propaganda. Ken’s attacks were directed towards imposters who paraded themselves as security forces and tribal agitators like Nii Lante Vanderpuye.

Ken basically said that fake cops must be ‘lynched’ (wrong word, right sentiment). He applauded ethnic peace in his constituency and said that must be emulated nationwide. He also emphasized that no one is superior to another. All he said was that Akans who are being victimized in Ododioodoo must meet violence with violence. He never said non-Akans in the Ashanti region must be attacked. He said that the extension of Nii Lante’s nonsense in Odododiodoo where Akans are prevented to vote would be Akans doing the same in Akan areas. That is the gist of what Ken said.

Those who truly love Ghana should not let the NDC spin this into mayhem under the very nose of the so-called Asomdweehene. King-of-Peace indeed! Those condemning Ken should shun the hypocrisy and call a spade a spade. Nii Lante must be sacked and sent to the BNI. Let us shirk the Ghanaian cowardice cloaked in pacifism. Ken expressed the right sentiment using wrong words.
