Is NDC That Evil?

It is more of sweat, perspiration, than inspiration to come up with bold intelligent suggestions and policies to help move a nation forward. It is this very perspiration that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a political party and a grouping of near-Naturally Demented Citizens (NDC) lack in conspicuity; failure to sit down, invest in time consuming efforts tapping into their gumption to come up with any credible national agenda in a form of sensible and achievable electioneering manifestos.

I have never been a political party sympathiser for any specific political party back home in Ghana. But I have steadfastly remained an admirer of individual persons genuinely engaged in politics without blemish; those without the taint of corruption, without the absurd quest for power, but rather dedicated to being of enviable service to Mother Ghana and Ghanaians, irrespective of their political ideologies, inclinations and affiliation. But for the flagrant display of intimidation, senseless issuance of threats and resolute determination to cause chaos in Ghana by the "Naturally Demented Citizens" (NDC), I have been compelled to identify with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the Non-Pontificating People (NPP)----(pontificate =to speak in a pompous or dogmatic manner), some of whom are though tainted. They are the lesser of the two evils.

The NDC since their relegation to "Opposition" have run out of credible ideas. They have resorted to nurturing violence, and are trigger-happy to unleash their evil intents emanating from their overflowing well of frustration on Ghanaians at any least opportunity. Their public pronouncements orchestrated by some of their so-called prominent persons like Ama Benewa Doe, Ohene Agyekum, Tony Aiddo and an ocean of others, all in an attempt to bring smiles to Rawlings' face by legitimising his erratic selfish behaviour manifested in his "Boom" speeches, is a great concern to intelligent patriots who desire the best for Ghana.

It must be pointed out to all NDC sympathisers the world over with their paid agents of propaganda resident abroad (eg. Kwame Thamesmead and Naana), that they can only fool and expose themselves as empty barrels making most noise through their assumed path of spewing threats without offering any policies let alone, campaigning on convincingly achievable electioneering manifestos upon which people can decide to vote them back into power. I see them as retrogressing but not stagnating with their boastful silly threats. Should they embark on anything nonsensical after the declaration of the December 2008 Presidential and parliamentary elections results where they emerge defeated, they should be drastically dealt with. It is their premeditation to wreak havoc on innocent Ghanaians should they even be genuinely denied power to rule Ghana in December 2008. Threats will not grab them the much needed power but sane political, economic and social policies. Premeditated offence is a crime punishable by the laws of the State. The NDC for over years have stated their atrocious actions well in advance of the elections results and should they do as anticipated by their rank and file, then the laws of the State must be stringently applied without fear or favour. I trust the future President to be fair and firm in the unbiased application of the Constitutional/Criminal/Civil laws of the land. .I am sick and tired of those who by deceiving themselves, think they were born with silver spoons in their mouth, and uniquely bequeathed with the authority to rule Ghana irrespective of the changes of the times and seasons. Their only interpretation for the times and seasons is, "I am born to win and to rule". This is obnoxious!. NDC, grow up! Stop citing the aftermath of elections in Kenya to buttress your evil anticipations. Theirs was spontaneous but yours is premeditated. That is the difference and that is what will make you a bunch of criminals.
