Is Mahama not a Curse on Ghana?

When the people of God sin against Him, He has a subtle way of showing His anger. As He derives no joy from the suffering of the sinner but seeks their repentance, He has a mild way of punishing them in case they would reform and run away from their sins or from the very evil acts for which they are punished or being punished.

Some Ghanaians asked for a change of government to see what the NDC has in store for them at the end of the 8-year Kufuor NPP-led government. God, I could feel, warned Ghanaians against such a hasty and dangerous request seeing how clueless, evil, tyrannical, insatiably greedy and corrupt the NDC are when in government.

These Ghanaians in question led by Mr Macho man J.J. Rawlings, threatened to burn down Ghana if they were denied the opportunity to govern Ghana. As rogues as they have always been, supported by their master the Devil, God might have said, you have asked for a taboo (your doom) and so shall it be. He gave us Atta Mills and John Mahama.

What do we see in Ghana now? It is all unprecedented perpetration and perpetuation of official corruption. The Atta Mills/John Mahama and John Mahama/Arthur-Amissah NDC-led governments are openly "pen-robbers", criminals in three-piece suits depleting the coffers of the nation for their selfish ends.

They have ganged up and colluded with ghosts and persons like Alfred Agbesi Woyome to loot and share the nation's money through what is "judgment debt payments". Woyome, an unintelligent criminal instead of concentrating on stealing cats for his renowned Voltarian delicacies, rather chose to front for the NDC in their criminal attempts to replenish their party's coffers. He presented fictitious documents claiming to have signed a contract with the NPP government to source foreign funds to execute work on CAN 2008.

In the end, Woyome said on air, before EOCO, in front of the Trial judge that he had never signed any contract with the government to merit that payment of GHC51.2 million to him. Why has the Court not found him guilty, compelled him to refund the money or incarcerated him until now if the NDC government and party are not involved with him to steal from Ghana?

My source of reliable information indicates that the money was collected for the NDC party hence, the unwillingness of the government to press the Attorney General to prosecute Woyome as it should for the fear of him spilling the beans. It is only a fool that does not know that the evil hand of the NDC is in Woyome's money. No matter how long it takes, he will refund the money.

If Mahama was not a curse on Ghana, why is he so clueless as not to know how to govern? To govern is not all about gathering a few loquacious persons, call them radio phone-in serial callers (NDC Communication Team Members), to peddle lies on the airwaves. To govern is not all about promoting or appointing those with loudmouth into positions all because they can lie to defend the government.

To govern is not all about the ability to fill all top and every government cum civil service positions with your tribesmen as it is the case with John Mahama of the "Ede bii keke" infamy.

Ghanaians are suffering under the Mahama regime. They cannot pay their children's school fees. They cannot pay their astronomically augmented utility bills. Death is staring every Ghanaian in the face. Our hospitals have become death traps and a place of no return when you are taken there for treatment when taken ill. They are cemeteries in effect instead of places of seeking treatment and healing.

Upon all said above which, are just the tip of the iceberg, the NDC goes about telling people all is well under the Mahama government. What the cheek!

My question to Macho man Rawlings is, "upon all your bravado about plunging Ghana into civil war if NDC had not won in 2008, was the current hardship condition that you had in store for us?" If yes, then shoo it up your arse. If no, then "do something about it before you die".

Mahama is a curse brought upon us in answer to our unguided insistence to have a change in government. We should have known much better about how callous the NDC were under J. J. Rawlings’ murderous regime of nineteen solid years. It was too soon to clamour for the NDC return to power after their exit in 2000. Either Ghanaians had come to have a short memory about the unpalatable incidents that took place under Rawlings or the NPP had become too swollen-headed to unconsciously begin to slip into evilness.

You asked for a change and you now have it, fellow Ghanaians. It serves you right! No, it was not the majority that asked for the change but a few powerful “greedy bastards, old evil dwarfs, babies with sharp teeth and political sycophants” that sought for the change. Pardon me then for blaming all Ghanaians for the current socio-economic problems we are wallowing in with just the tip of our nose above water. We are drowning in the incompetence, mediocrity and lawlessness of the Mahama NDC government. Oh, what a curse on Ghana!
