Interdict UEW Registrar with forged O level and birth certificates

Professor Emmanuel Abakah Professor Emmanuel Abakah

Principles never alter or change with time. They remain the same and are unaffected by time or space.

Few months ago, some persons whose activities adversely affected the University of Education, Winneba, were dealt with according to the statutes of the institution.

It is against this backdrop that it has become imperative that all other persons including the Registrar of the University of Education, Winneba, Mr. Paul Osei Barimah Esq., must be put to surgical scrutiny.

Persons wo are not qualified to occupy offices at the University must be forced out and made to face the law if found culpable.

Officers with forged O’Level results and birth certificates must be investigated to establish the veracity of these matters. This, I believe, is in the spirit of fairness.

It would be a travesty of justice to treat some officers including the Registrar preferentially when others suffered similar but dire consequences few months ago.

The Prof. Emmanuel Abakah-led Governing Council should, as a matter of priority, take this matter up and deal with it. The name of the game is fairness!

It is strange that Prof. Abakah has received a petition on this matter yet he has refused to act on it. If those found culpable must be interdicted, it must be done soon to give way for an independent investigation!

It is about time office holders at the University of Education, Winneba, cease to occupy various positions with results and birth certificates which are massaged!
