Independence and sovereignty of Ghana

The world has organisations like the World bank, UN, WTO, IMF and many more YES Africans respect that, but not to the extent of imposing development programs like Structural Adjustment Programs (SAPs), Economic Recovery Programs (ERPs), Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) on our states which analytically do not benefit us. These forms of foreign influence and interventions through international organisations raise important issues of sovereignty and independence.

This is sheer disregard and disrespect for our independence and sovereignty as states. My people let us stand up and manage our own affairs, we have great capacity as human beings let us tap our intellectual prowess or will be manipulated all the time, let us believe in ourselves or no one will.

Political elites, chiefs and leaders after the independence era with their existing connection with the Colonial rulers is hampering the growth of Ghana, topmost in the name of the reactionary political parties New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress who operate on neo-colonialism, neo-imperialism and neo-liberalism. It is time for the breakup of this link to establish the country’s full independence and sovereignty or we allow the willing Convention Peoples Party to come through as destined to lead us to the Promised Land. Our cherished fathers have failed Our Beloved Country far enough, very saddening and it is enough.

The youth must stand up against this degrading act and defend the Ghanaian heritage through the right and available medium for this course because it is so clear our fathers are already committed to their reactionary course. It is not that they do not hear our cry, it is because of the foul commitment they are in which has locked them out of leading us efficiently and effectively as they have to without external influences. This calls for a medium to fight this good course and it clearly directs us to working for Ghana through the Convention Peoples Party as a political party in the country. The Convention Peoples Party youth league is made up of comrades in cadreship.

The symbol of the Convention Peoples Party which is the cock signifies chief or leader. The cry of the cock in the morning, the cry of born leaders in to do our national work, hoping Ghanaians hear our cry. As true Ghanaians, we take interest in the foundation of Ghana (Nkrumahism) which led us to Convention Peoples Party which is the medium we will use to help defend the Ghanaian heritage as young cadres helping to build the country. So help us GOD…

Convention Peoples Party needs no propaganda to pave our way to state power, there is so many complete or full truths to tell Ghanaians in helping them to realize their chains of darkness to the dominating political parties New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress and break them free to see THE LIGHT in the agenda of Convention Peoples Party as a third force political party in the country moving to the seizure of state of power as deserved. It is so clear these parties have no medication to heal the Ghanaian society from its ills and madness. No patient keeps taking the same medication after realizing its ineffectiveness.

The creation of the young pioneer movement for the ideological education of the nation's youth, party's control of the civil/public service and connection with the people of Ghana.
