How Nkrumah built Ghana with dedication and selflessness
,
The articles by PETER Antwi from the UK and the lecture by Gabby Orchry of the Dankwa institute to an audience in the USA on Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, to some people might be looking like accidental acts rather than intentional ploy by an organized group of guilt infested people to rewrite the history of Ghana and that of the OAU.
The focus now is on Ghana but when these individuals get away with their evil intentions; their next target is going to be the Africa Union.

90% of the population of Ghana, particularly the youths, were not alive when most of what were being discussed today actually happened. Equally the historical writings as documentations of most of what happened were not properly documented or destroyed, thereby not being available enough for our youths. More over, the youths of today actually do not research much and are fickle minded. This nonchalant attitude of our youths is said to be due to the NEW WORLD ORDER.

However, surrounding us are several evidence of what Nkrumah stand for that are suppose to speak for them selves. One then will be forced to start asking the question; WHAT IS THE MOTIVE BEHIND THESE WRITINGS? WHY NOW? WHY ARE THESE WRITINGS BY THE SAME CAMP OF THE AFRICAN CONSERVATIVES? WHAT EXACTLY DOES DR. KWAME NKRUMAY STANDS FOR THAT IS BEING A THREAT TO THESE PEOPLE? DOES THIS THING THAT KNRUMAH STANDS FOR STILL EXIST AFTER OVER 50 YEARS OF KWAME NKRUMAH'S DEATH? IS THIS THING THAT NKRUMAH STANDS FOR STILL A THREAT TO CERTAIN INTERETS?

In politics, failure to rise up to the challenge of one's opponents in the struggle for the HEARTS AND MINDS of the people is a sign of weakness. Politics rely greatly on STRENGTH OF AN OPINION AND HOW CONVINCING THE OPINION IS. Since it is all about the struggle for the psychological sympathy of the people, being silence about the expressions of such characters like Gabby Darko, Peter Antwi and the associates could be mistaken by the fickle minded majority of our people that THE SELFISH CONSERVATIVES THAT KWAME NKRUMAH STOOD AGAINST ARE RIGHT WHILE THE SELFLESS COMPASSIONATES THAT KWAME NKRUMAH SYMBOLIZES, ARE WRONG.

It is also very important to acknowledge the angle from which the ANTI-KWAME NKRUMAH'S ARE FIGHTING FROM by looking at the financiers and the backers of those who stood against Nkrumah. Britain and the USA played very significant role in supporting the ANTI-NKRUMAH CAMPAIGN, home and abroad, in favour of the SELFISH CONSERVATIVES to sustain the statuesque designed to slave the Ghanaian forever.
It will be very wrong for one to fall on the friend of his enemy for support against his enemy. In fact that was exactly what the WEST wanted. Kwame Nkrumah as well understood that he will also need an external support to counter the effort of the CONSERVATIVES in order to actualize his COMPASSIONATE mission. But instead of resorting to the IMPERIALISTS POWERS, Kwame Nkrumah opted for the AFRICAN OPTION i.e. the ORGANIZATION OF THE AFRICA UNITY (OAU), today called the AFRICA UNION (AU).

Kwame Nkrumah knew very well that THE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM ON THE AFRICAN CONTINENT MUST BE FROM WITHIN THE AFRICAN CONTINENTS ITSELF. To this, he understood that an INSTITUTION OF AUTHORITY FORMED BY AFRICANS, WITHIN THE AFRICAN CONTINENT, OWNED AND CONTROLLED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE AFRICAN CONITNENT THEMSELVES, AS WELL AS RUNNED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE AFRICAN CONITNENT, IS THE ONLY ONE THAT THE AFRICAN WILL BE CAPABLE OF CHANGING THE DESTINY OF THE PEOPLE ON THE CONTINENT.

At Independence of Ghana, like it was meant for every African independent state, it was intended that the colonies must have only a PRIME MINISTER, while the QWEEN OF ENGLAND (the Monarch) remain the HEAD OF STATE of the colony. To sustain this practice, every political party, whether in government or not, in the colony is expected to consider the MONARCH as an INSTITUTION OF its SUPREME AUTHORITY. By this practice, political parties are supposed to be dependent on their colonial partners for external finance, conflict resolutions, policy advice, etc.

This was the first COMMANDMENT OF THE IMPERIALIST that Kwame Nkrumah broke by going for the Plebiscite to make Ghana a REPUBLIC and himself the FIRST PRESIDENT OF GHANA. In order words, Kwame Nkrumah was signifying that he is not going to allow himself and the people of Ghana to be controlled financially, socially and politically by any colonial authority. Thus, he is not ready for any colonial interference in the business of his free nation and its people.

Kwame Nkrumah made it very clear by according respect where it is due, that he is not going to be dependant on his former colonial master for finance to run his political agenda of which the people of Ghana have clearly voted for the party's PLAN OF ACTION DEMOCRATICALLY. How fair would it have been on us if Kwame Nkrumah should be explaining to the Ghanaian tax payer that the reason why he could not carry out his PROMISED ACTION PLAN TO THEM WAS THAT THE IMPERILIST HE DEPENDEND ON DID NOT ADVICE HIMP ROPERLY OR FAILED TO FINANCE HIM?

The following are what Kwame Nkrumah promised the people;
1. Free qualitative education at every level to every Ghanaian
2. Free medical service of the highest standard to every Ghanaian regardless to the person personal circumstances
3. Nothing less than 50 factories for then production of industrial and consumer goods located strategically across the country
4. Ten nation wide motor ways starting with the TEMA MOTOR WAY, to link up all the major cities and shorten time spent on travelling
5. The building of three new International airports, starting with the KOTOKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, to opening up Ghana as the gateway to the rest of Africa
6. At least two international sea ports by refurbishing the SECONDI TAKORADI SEA PORT and the CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW TEMA PORT for a start.
7. A befitting new modern city of TEMA with internationally standard housing facilities to house the managers/workers of the New City and its surrounding factories with their families
8. The housing project of the KANDA/RUGAH ESTATE that houses today nothing less than 2000 families. (Note that the landlords of Nima where paid and to be resettled in Madina and Ashiama as the location was intended for extension of the Kanda Estates).
9. The AKOSOMBO HYDRO-ELECTRIC DAM to feed the domestic needs and the industrial demands with cheap electricity necessary for competitive industrial productive ventures
10. The VOLTA HOUSING PROJECT capable of housing 2000 families.

Dr. Kwame Nkrumah achieved all these dreams within 10 years and very unfortunately, every one of these projects was seen as negative achievements by the colonial sympathisers just because Kwame Nkrumah is not following some of our brothers who believed in consulting the WHITEMAN FIRST BEFORE VISITING THE TOILET!

Some times, some of us try to sympathise with these "FOLLOW-FOLLOWS" who were still suffering from COLONIAL HUNGOVER. Removing the colonial master's burden from their lives is like removing the ALMIGHTY GOD FROM THEIR LIVES.
Naturally, one will be expecting those with colonial hung-over to behave the way they were doing. Their behaviour however began to get out of hand with the advancement of the success story of Kwame Nkrumah as the man with the MAGIC TOUCH. In fact, in some African countries, the myth was that KWAME NKRUMAH AND THE GHANAIANS ARE DOING WHAT THE WHITEMAN IS YET TO BE ABLE TO DO IN EUROPE. Everyone across Africa and Asia, and even in some parts of Europe, particularly the far less privileged daily longed for Kama Nkrumah as their saviour. Must any sane person, and the Ghanaian for that matter, blame Kwame Nkrumah for doing what is good for the people in setting them free? Well, Pater Antwi, Garbby Orchery Darko and their associates do!

The worst part of the story that were never mentioned by Gabby Orchery Darko and Peter Antwi were that those they are presenting to us today as if such people were the angels of their time who never resorted to violence out of their jealousy and frustrations. These people never remember to tell the Ghanaian youths of today that their saints resorted to a gorilla war tactic by bombing innocent Ghanaians. They never tell Ghanaians that their gods did attacked innocent Ghanaians within their communities and intimidating them to join them in their colonial hang-over by not seeing anything good with the good work of Kwame Nkrumah. Imagine the psychological blind men of the time intimidating poor Ghanaians not to see the practical wonders of Kwami Nkrumah just because they are blind themselves.

The widely read and experienced president Dr. Kwami Nkrumah knew very well that attempt on the president's life is part of political risk. He was very much aware of the so many attempts by citizens of the USA to kill their presidents. Nkrumah was also very much aware and informed of what is happening across most of the African states; the Congo experience fresh in the mind with the active USA and the colonial Belgian government. Nkrumah as well knows that when you attempt to kill the president and you are caught, you are investigated and all those involved are punished.

The dicey part of the whole situation was not the attempt on Nkrumah's life but a faction of the political elites thinking that they can continue to encourage their followers to be killing and miming innocent Ghanaian citizens without Nkrumah doing anything about it.
How many of us today, would have forgiven Kwame Nkrumah for foregoing all these great work that we can physically see today, and instead allowing the selfish tribal conservatives to have their way? How many of us would have forgiven Kwame Nkrumah for pretending he was unaware of what was happening to allow the selfish tribal conservatives in employing the strength of the national resources in amassing wealth for themselves at the cost of the nation while we all languish in mass poverty? How many of us would have forgiven Kwame Nkrumah for not coming up with a law that will be guaranteeing our security from the selfish frustrated colonial stooges whose action has brought our great dear nation to where she is today? Are we forgetting that, like the vampire does when in desperate need for blood, the colonialists in their hurry to do something about Ghanaians efforts to command higher prices for their commodities, mounted more pressure on the tribal cum religious collaborating politicians, who in turn become irrational in their political antagonism, that Nkrumah had to put them under check? How many of us, with even a hindsight as is the case today, would have not wished Nkrumah did imprisoned the political childish minded frustrated individuals that resorted to killing Ghanaians in their quest to tarnish the image of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah just because it was becoming very obvious that Nkrumah's fame of success is reducing their political dreams into oblivion at all levels? In politics, the saying that "posterity shall judge us all" was exactly the cardinal of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah by which every one of his action was executed. In deed, he stands to be judge by that but not by tribal colonial liars like Garbby Orcheri Darko, Peter Antwi and their associates to whom good things are only by the authority of their slave masters!

Protecting every Ghanaian against injustice was one of the oaths of Kwame Nkrumah's official duty as the head of state and president of the REPUBLIC OF GHANA. Does this exclude some people that were associated with some of the killings of Ghanaians to be restricted by imprisonment, as one of the few options in the hand of the state? Is this practice of POLITICAL IMPUNITY that Kwame Nkrumah tried to stop 50 years ago not what is happening today in Ghana, because the selfish faction backed by the imperialists that eventually had their way, wished it so? Are we now not in an era where individuals are hiding behind their political curtains to be engaging in all sorts of Anti Social Behaviours and getting way with it? Physical attack on political opponents is becoming the order of the day in Ghana, particularly when one found him/her self in the middle of a people with the same political view. Is this the best we want for our nation? Will Nkrumah be said to be right or wrong in doing something about this in his time?

What is holding the CPP back today is that the so called NKRUMAHIST are just as good as the ANTI-NKRUMARHIST has been, as both are resorting to the imperialists as their GUARDIAN SPIRIT outside Ghana which has been the original plan of the colonial master that Nkrumah stood against and opted for the AFRICAN CONTINENTAL WIDE APPROACH. The Nkrumahist AGENDA today is just as good as the MATI-MIHU'S IMPERIALISTS AGENDA because they all depend on the financial backing of the colonialists which does not go without the colonial advice as well.
This is where the CONVENTIONAL PEOPLE'S PARTY (CPP) is becoming the CONSERVATIVE PEOPLE'S PARTY (CPP). Our political elite brothers and sister are becoming very active and comfortable with running to the colonial masters for loans. The argument within Ghana today, whether it is NPP (NEOCOLONIALIST PEOPLE'S PARTY), NDC (NATIONAL DECIEVERS CONGRESS) OR CPP(CONFUSED PEOPLE'S PARTY), it is all about how best the Ghanaian can work with the IMPERIALISTS so that they will be giving Ghana more loans. In fact, being a nation of DEBTORS to our colonial-imperialists friends is a normal thing in our polity.

The thin line between Kwame Nkrumah's vision of the Ghanaian is that the Ghanaian shall rely on him/her self first for the solution to his/her problem but when such fails, he/she will then look up to the OAU (AU) for the solution beyond Ghana. On the other hand, J. B. Dankwa's vision of the Ghanaian is also for the Ghanaian to look up to him/her self first for the solution to his/her problem but when such fails, the Ghanaian must resort to the colonial-imperil master for the solution beyond Ghana.

So while the centre of focus of the foreign policy of Kwame Nkrumah to the rest of the world is the Africa Union then the OAU, the centre of the foreign policy to the rest of the world of J.B. Dankwa is the colonial master. Thus, Nkrumah wanted to rely on the OAU beyond Ghana to relate with the rest of the world while the J.B. Dankwa believes in relying on the colonial master beyond Ghana to relate with the rest of the world.

The fact is that, we are now at the point of no threat where Garbby and Peter by the directives of the colonial advisors are finishing their dirty work. The bigger picture of the OAU as passionately advanced by Nkrumah, is now under control as the mind and heart of the Ghanaian, regardless to whatever political parties he/she belong to, has now been reversed and limited to Ghana. In fact, the voices of this kind of advocacy are even dead in Ghana. However, a form of Nkrumah's voice as a spirit is still resonating in the heart of the Africa Union itself outside Ghana.

The job of these POLITICAL UNDER TAKERS in the person of Garbby Darko and Peter Antwi among some of their associate is to attack and nib the remaining glimmer of Nkrumah's goodness in the heart and mind of the Ghanaian by the means of rewriting the history of Ghana and the AU in general. By this, reshaping the image of Nkrumah in the mind of the Ghanaian regarding the ideals of the compassionate Kwame Nkrumah is a key factor. This is aimed at confusing the Ghanaian in the future who will be promoting the African Continental project with Nkrumah's passion and vigour. It aimed at distorting Nkrumah's own prophecy that "ONE DAY, AFTER ME SHALL COME THE NEW AFRICAN THAT SHALL FULFILL...... THIS DREAM".

Indeed the target is the Nkrumah in the heart of the Ghanaian but the noise is coming from minarets of THE UNITED KINGDOM (UK) AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA), where both Garbby and Peter are making their voices heard. But, why the UK and the USA? Is this not an indication that the CPP voice will be better advance in the AU? Or rather, against Nkrumah's view, the CPP should be following the Garbbys and the Peters to the COLONIAL CUM IMPERLAISTS METROPOLITANTS to make their own voices heard as well?
