Ghanaians - Get up, Stand: Stand up for your Rights

Their shortsighted, callous, corrupt and incompetent politicians of whom the NDC emerge with unqualified distinction have taken the good people of Ghana for a rough ride. For how long are we as law-abiding Ghanaians going to, and able to, submit to the daily and never-ending underestimation of our intelligence, taxation of our patience, exploitation of our very being, by our NDC politicians of tenacious old roguish habits?

The NDC as a grouping of people believe in having their own way regardless of the method used and how devastative it will be to others. They have the audacity to dire those who hold contrary view to their wishes to challenge them after indicating their views and desires. Lawless, it said, are they that make their wills their law. Are the NDC not typical lawless people when we critically scrutinize their actions? They are violent. They believe in violence. Moreover, they hope to obtain their objectives by violence.

I today warn the NDC. I advise them to take cue from the saying, "when you chase an animal to a tight corner, no matter how harmless and fearless it normally is, it will muster courage to fight back". This is what the NDC are seeing in today Ghana after conniving with the disgraced septuagenarian Kwadwo Afari-Gyana to rig election December 7, 2012.

They haven't seen anything yet ("They ain't seen nothing yet")

The completely human bunch of NDC should note that, "you can only protect your liberties in the world by protecting the other man's freedom. You can only be free if I am free". Many are those that are not free in Ghana today. With the selective justice, unprecedented gargantuan corruption under the NDC coupled with that last straw that broke the camel's back - wilful disenfranchisement of Ghanaians at Election 2012, Ghanaians are peeved.

The voice of the people is the voice of God. The will of the people will surely happen no matter how far or long it takes. The NDC will crumble under the weight of public agitation. Any sensible, responsible, well-meaning and God-fearing Ghanaian will tell how the NDC of John Mahama has imposed herself on Ghanaians through the corruption of the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Kwadwo Afari-Gyan.

As tomorrow is not promised to anyone, the NDC of yesteryears thought she could carry herself about in the usual intimidating manner today. Things have greatly changed. The wind of change has taken place and Ghanaians are much wiser today except the few archaic NDC activists awash in corruption. Their morals have gone straight out of the window. They were not thinking right when they embarked on secret "Yaw Boateng Gyan's" plans to rig election 2012.

I call on all sensible Ghanaians to be part of the blowing wind of change to get a much better, less corrupt government in Ghana. Every Ghanaian lawyer except the NDC rogues has to commit not to recommend or defend a case he or she does not in all conscience believe to be just". Having said this, I will treat all Ghanaians to the late Bob Marley's reggae song: Get up, Stand: Stand up for your rights. Get up, Stand up: Don't give up the fight.

Finally, I call on all men and women of integrity to be resolute in their quest and fight to ensure justice prevails in election 2012. As revealed in Kofi Basoah's dream, our resolute determination to ensure justice prevails will culminate in Ghanaians declaring Nana Akuffo-Addo the winner of Election 2012. He won the election but robbed by Afari-Gyan and his NDC. Afari Gyan proposed but God will dispose.

Ghanaians have talked the talk. It is time for them to walk the walk.

I am tired and feel very sleepy. I wish every discerning Ghanaian a Happy Christmas and a Successful New Year.
