From setbacks to success: The heartfelt journey of Hon. Mustapha Ussif

Hon. Mustapha Ussif, Member of Parliament for Yagaba/Kubori constituency in the North East Region, who also serves as the Minister of Youth and Sports.

This young man intelligently contested a seat that was known to be an opposition NDC seat and won for the NPP for the first time in history when his party was in opposition. Due to his humble nature and love for mankind, the good people of Yagaba/Kubori believed in him.

In 2016, it was unfortunate that he lost the seat to the same man he had taken it from, due to lack of funds to undertake projects in the community, since his party was in opposition and the government at the time did not support him in developing his constituency.

He never gave up but worked very hard and reclaimed the seat in 2020. Isn’t that great?

His energy and attitude towards work are wonderful. He works day and night to ensure that things are done, and done well.

As we approach the election in December, I know people will come with a whole lot of promises, but I trust that the people of Yagaba/Kubori will choose this honest and kind man, Hon. Mustapha. Don’t let them deceive you with their lies. Vote massively for Hon. Mustapha and his NPP team to continue the good work they are doing.

Great people of Yagaba/Kubori, as you vote for your man, Hon. Mustapha, remember to also vote for another great man from your region, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, “the man of the moment,” to be the President of our nation, Ghana.
