Electroland Ghana Limited has donated foodstuffs to about 200 women, especially the older women who live just near the Odorna gutter at Circle to put smiles on their faces as the country is on lockdown as directed by the President to celebrate Easter in our various homes in the wake of the deadly coronavirus.

Adiza Ibrahim Sadiq, Marketing Manager of the company said, “We are in this fight against COVID-19 together and so we will continue to donate to under privileged people and communities as it’s the only way to prevent people from coming out of their homes during this lockdown.”

She also used the opportunity to sensitize the residents: “Continue to follow the preventive measures by washing your hands thoroughly under running water, use hand sanitizers often, cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing, practice social distance and call emergency number 112 if you notice any symptoms.”

She expressed gratitude to the police officers at Adabraka station who helped during the donations by making the people stand apart before receiving the relief packages.
