“Dan Botwe is a myth - Nyaho Tamakloe”

It is now very clear that the article “Dan Botwe is a myth - Nyaho Tamakloe” making the rounds in the media, was a hatchet job, by faceless individuals, using the name of Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe’s to defame the venerable body of work and name of Hon. Dan Botwe.

Of course, Dr. Tamakloe was not the source of the diabolic article, having since the publication came out, condemned the article and denied that he wrote it.

Hon. Dan Botwe is respected leader within the NPP and beyond. His respect is earned from his principled, matured and intelligent disposition, as well as his verifiable political achievements. He is a successful Party Volunteer, Executive and Politician.

Hon. Dan Botwe gave up his lucrative engineering career with the COCOBOD, to serve the NPP, from the bottom up, starting from the unheralded work of research, building it up, well before NPP could overcome the rigging juggernaut of the pNDC and win power.

Having been elected the General Secretary at a relatively young age, his work ethic, leadership qualities and strategic mind was universally acknowledged. He is considered by many to be the most effective and successful National Executive of the NPP to-date.

His work and success as a long-tenured MP remains unquestioned. He is principled and abhors sycophancy. He is a man of very high standards and never cheapens himself for unprincipled benefits.

He means well and the idea that his principled nature makes him a non-team player is not supported by the facts. In fact, he is one of the few people in the NPP, who truly has respect across the key blocs within the party and has the capabilities to help bridge any gaps required to deepen the unity of purpose within the party.

Surely, he is not perfect. However, it is no wonder that nameless faces have to hide behind the name of other folks like Dr. Tamakloe to attack Dan Botwe. This was done because the facts simply do not support the portrayal of the man, contained in the hatchet article.

It is no wonder to many a serious patriot that whenever the NPP needs a proven leader type of a manager Dan Botwe’s name keeps coming up. Dan Botwe is a myth only to faceless hatchet men, if they can even be called men.
