There is a sanitation crisis in Ghana. There is a toilet facilities crisis in Ghana. Whoever is not aware of the situation should read just a few of the following articles on Ghanaweb:

2. Wednesday, 16 July 2014- Akwamuman SHS Girls defecate in Bushes
3. Friday, 18 April 2014-Stranded Senchi Passengers Defecate In The Open
4. Friday, 4 April 2014- Let Us Also Keep The Peace in Our Toilets
5. Wednesday, 2 April- Ghana: 10,000 Public Schools Without Toilets
6. Wednesday, 19 March 2014 – Slum Education: The Case Of Abura St. Lawrence Primary/JHS
7. Friday, 7 March 2014 – Ashanti :SHS Tutor Falls Into dilapidated Toilet
8. Sunday, 12 January 20114 – The Whole Of Accra Stinks Badly
9. Sunday, 29 December 2013 – Washrooms In Accra: A Recipe For Diseases
A very encouraging and interesting article appeared on Ghanaweb on Sunday, 23 November 2014:

“ People Must Invest In Toilet Facilities – DCE”

The article contained the statement “…Mr. Daddieh, therefore, commended Pastor Andrew Kanga of Sacred Action Church, Half-Assini, over an ULTRA-MODERN LAVATORY in the town to improve sanitation.”

Pastor Kangah must be hailed as a national hero. He has done something positive about the sanitation problem in our beloved country, Ghana. This is leadership, which should be emulated by other Pastors all over Ghana. Perhaps churches should take over the sanitation problem in Ghana. Many of our politicians only pay lip-service to improving the sanitary conditions. They are too busy planning strategies ( FAIR or FOUL) for winning elections.
Once more CONGRATULATIONS to Pastor Andrew Kangah !!!
