Condolences to the superstar of diplomacy

The late Kofi Annan The late Kofi Annan

From a humble beginnings in Ghana to a dignified exit on a world stage, you were the toast of the world, a symbol of hope and admiration for literally billions of people, you came on stream when the world was in dire straits and needed somebody like you to bring and keep it firmly back on track.

Your Excellency, your achievements cannot be chronicled here or elsewhere, attempting to catch the wind I guess is an attempt in futility.

Once in a very long time, mankind is gifted a special person and in our time you were the special one, brought into the world to be a ruder to a sinking ship, and what a brilliant and fantastic Captain you was.

Indeed the world has lost an idol, a great son from Ghana, today the world is mourning because you came to serve and not to be served, the world is mourning because a star has moved on to his Maker, the people of Ghana and the entire world are grateful to the Almighty God for a gentle and a humble man who could not be corrupted, you served diligently without blemish and you will be remembered as such.

May the Good Lord consoles all of us especially his wife and children and the entire family, there is no adequate words to summed up our sadness and grief.

On behalf of our Dear Chairman Alex Acheampong and the entire NPP GERMANY BRANCH, we say May the good Lord gives you SOLACE in His never-ending Mercy.
