Caution For Ghanaians On HIV , AIDS ,STIs This Festive Season

The season of merry marking is here as various government agencies has place measures in place to keep people safe,.

It must also occur fresh in our mind that, as Ghanaians, we need to always check and improve our sexual health practices over Christmas in a bid to stem the rising tide? of STIs.

It?s true that Christmas is an occasion for joy building bridges and there is enough merry marking and enjoyment and as good people we should also remember to create the awareness of HIV and AIDS in our society.

During the partying season, people should think twice before engaging in unprotected sex if their partner's sexual health status is unknown. If any body decide to have sex, We must always remember to use a condom as this provides the most reliable means of protection against most STIs when used properly.

We should not be carried away by ignorance and not make Christmas as a season of unprotected sex. , many people who carry sexually transmitted infections are unaware of the fact, putting their health and other people?s well-being at risk.
People should be careful during the Christmas season. Improving sexual health and increase the use of contraceptives such as condoms, MUST be the campaign from the ministry of Health, Ghana Aids Commission, and other relevant organisation and that will help to reduce this increasing problem.

Inaddition, Ghanaians should be note that modesty and good temperament is needed to avoid any nasty incident my message to good people of this country is to be precautious so as to reduce the risk of getting unwanted Christmas present.
I wish all and sundry a joyous Christmas and a celebrating and fulfilling new year .
