Embattled Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Koku Anyidoho is still in high spirit that his struggle to get the controversial Ghana-US Military Cooperation agreement withdrawn will yield results, according to his Lawyer,Victor Kojogah Adawudu.

Mr. Victor Kojogah Adawudu, said despite his detention at the Bureau of National Investigation(BNI) his client still had a fixed and determined course towards getting the Defense deal terminated at the long run.

“We’ve not been confronted with actual comment purported to have been made by him, so if we are confronted with that then we can analyze it and see. But I think he’s been very passionate that that agreement between Ghana and US will not happen”

The strength of his crusade against the US Military pact is largely growing and falling in line, as Ghanaians massed up to demonstrate in the streets of Accra Wednesday against the executive move by the Akufo-Addo administration.

The demonstration was to register their displeasure with the Ghana-US defence cooperation agreement signed by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

The protest had the full backing of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), other political parties and some civil society organisations.

Meanwhile, Lawyer Adawudu believes his client’s frustrations with his challenge against the ‘bogus deal’ is something that one day he will add to his memoir.
