Analysing Lost NPP Volta Votes

Where the reality is, and which a new set of NPP leaders must admit is that (for those of you who do no know):

The NPP Government has the following as DCE's {District Chief Executives}. In the Volta Region alone, the NPP fielded eight (8) DCs as Parliamentary Candidates on December 7. Every Ghanaian knows who a DC is. The DCs are the most powerful people wielding political authority in any district, and is same in Volta. The DCE controls more political power since some districts have more than one constituency. In spite of all the power available, these Kufuor representatives in the Districts lost the elections under their own noses on December 7.

I wonder why NPP Headquarters in Accra did not shout of any "VOLTA VOTES WERE RIGGED" at the Parliamentary & Presidential voting on December 7!! So where is the cry now of a non-existent Volta Vote Rigging during the run-off? The DCEs are still in power and supervised the government business of December 28, the RUN-OFF as well!!!! Do you get what I mean here? The basic facts:

a) AHIABOR Edward K (DCE-Keta) Lost as NPP Candidate for Anlo constituency

b) ABLEDU Anthony (DCE-Akatsi) Lost as NPP Candidate for Ave-Avenor constituency

c) Kofi Adjei-Ntim (DCE-Kadjebi) Lost as NPP Candidate for Akan constituency

d) Mawutor GOH (DCE-HO) Lost as NPP Candidate for Ho West constituency

e) AMEWU John-Peter(DCE-Hohoe Municipal) Lost as NPP Candidate for Hohoe North constituency

f) DENTEH Joseph Y.B (DCE-Nkwanta) Lost as NPP Candidate for Nkwanta South constituency

g) ASSEM Moses Mensah (DCE-North Tongu) Lost as NPP Candidate for North Tongu constituency

h) AGLAH Kate, Ms (DCE-South Tongu) Lost as NPP Candidate for South Tongu constituency

This is the absolute truth of events.

Now, for NPP Headquarters' sources to publish data below through one Nana Bawuah on Ghanaweb as being electoral malpractices from Volta during the RUN-OFF, even to mention my hometown, we are not at war at all.

But NPP might have been fed so much garbage from their said sources.

Since NPP sadly mentioned my own hometown here, I am compelled by the ASIAMIGBE 'TAM we swear at TANYIGBE, to clarify these:

TANYIGBE:

1) The Paramount Chief of Tanyigbe is Togbega Kwasi Adiko V. He was/is UP and had to escape into exile in 1960 under CPP. He returned in 1967, and is still ruling. The 82-year-old Togbe is an NPP Government appointtee in the HO MUNICIPAL ASSEMPLY. Togbega is well-educated and is a retired public servant.

1.1) Togbega's Stool Father Amega Enos Adiko Mensa (0245-843969) is my first-cousin, my mum being born after his mum. Fo Enos is strong in NPP, and is no secret in Tanyigbe. He is 71, a retired Assistant Director of Education and can verify any voting document.

2) TANYIGBE ANYIGBE:

2.1) The Assemblywoman for Tokokoe-Tanyigbe, Madam Mawuli Kpodo (0243-459520) of Tanyigbe Anyigbe is the immediate junior sister of Mr Seth Kpodo who stood for NPP-Ho Central in 2004 but did not win. Seth Kpodo again contested the NPP Ho Central primaries in 2008 but lost to Dr Letsa of Klefe.

2.2) The Divisional Chief of Tanyigbe Anyigbe has his Stool Father as Modesto Kefa Akoto (0246-169192). Fo Kefa is also my first cousin, my dad being born after his mum. Fo Kefa is a Teacher and a very active NPP fan and all Tanyigbe knows this.

As a son of Tanyigbe, I know, however, that NPP is in the minority, but the said publication from NPP DERRICK OWUSU FOSU's source is only a fiction. Who sent this poor guy to TANYIGBE for Voting observation? Did they ask him to even say 'Hello' to the Rulers {who are perceived to be pro-NPP??????}. Did NPP Volta direct the poor Twi-speaking guy to contact any local guy? The NPP only assumed that all there are NDC. That is sad.

I have just spoken to the Paramount Chief after reading the Nana Bawuah data, I have spoken to the Assemblywoman and I have spoken to Fo Kefa's big brother Fo Yaw.

They all denied the content of the said VOLTA ELECTORAL MALPRACTICES report and would like to reach out to the DERRICK OWUSU FOSU for scrutiny, and for the the transfer, IF NEED BE, to the deities for verification.

It is a fact that KOKU ANYIDOHO, the Communications in-Charge of Prof Mills, is from Tanyigbe. But Koku is home-based and is not involved in local Tanyigbe-level politics.

The Nana Bawuah message is therefore only a fiction, the part concerning Tanyigbe and which is copied below:

"..In most Polling Stations in Ho Central Constituency, the NPP Polling Agents were smeared with an itchy substance locally know as “Apia”, making them to be rushed to Dr. Latsa for medical treatment. For instance, Derrick Owusu Fosu at the Tanyigbe-Anyigbe (D071707), Kwame Asomani at the L/A Primary, Avee Gbogame Polling Station (D071805). Asomani was not allowed to stay till the close of polls to sign the Result slip and put the party seal on the Ballot Box and Boakye-Yiadom at the 1st Choice Clinic Polling Station (D070106) were victims of such scandalous acts of the NDC activists.

The Polling Agent, Kingsford Obeng at L/A JSS Kleefe-Dome Polling Station (D072103) was threatened by the Presiding Officer and the local.

At the Ho-Hohoe Anglican Primary School (D070903), the NPP Agent caught the polling Assistant tearing double ballot papers for voters.

At the Ho District Education Office Polling Station (D071902) the Presiding Officer personally directed voters where to cast their vote.

At the L/A Primary School (D071706), Tanyigbe-Dzafe, Seyiram Gavor was arrested for double voting. He was handed over to the police.."

Emil Akoma, wishing all Ghanaians and the reading public a happy new year.
