Dear National Executives,
I write in response to your letter dated 24th September 2025 with reference number NPP/HQ/2025/09/24/PR/GS titled REFERAL OF PETITION AGAINST MR. ERNEST OWUSU BEMPAH.
I have observed with concern an open display of unfairness and bias by the current leadership of our dear party. The letter, which has been circulated on all social media platforms, is not only surprising but also a shame to the elephant family.
It is a shame because of the personality who is the subject matter of your release, if Ernest Owusu Bempah's utterances require disciplinary action.
My major concern is why the current leadership has blatantly refused to the unprovoked and consistent attack by Mr. Kwame Baffoe a.k.a Abronye ( Bone Regional Chairman) on Hon. Ken Ohen Agyapong even to the extent of calling him a fool, demonic and has even threatened to physically abuse him if he ever meet him on live radio and TV.
Mr. General Secretary, your letter is a literal insult to the person of Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, who is a presidential aspirant and a possible flagbearer of our party in the 2028 general elections.
Mr. Kodua, already, there is a perception of unfairness and an attempt by national executives to skew the electoral process to favour Dr. Bawumia.
Do not forget Mr. Kodua, the famous statement of the biblical character Nebuchadnezzar, "... God rules in the affairs of men."
The actions and inactions of the current leadership suggest that you are convinced without equivocation that Dr. Bawumia will be leading the NPP in the 2028 general elections; therefore, he requires divine protection and an angelic escort in his daily endeavours.
Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong was verbally abused in public by a regional chairman (Abronye). The party was quiet, but when he stupidly insulted Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the party issued a letter to distance itself from those uncultured utterances.
My quest is, does the party stand with the words he used on Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong?
Do not forget that when a man is hated, he attracts the attention of God.
I conclude with Genesis 29:31 "When the Lord saw that Leah was hated, He took it upon Himself to open her womb whiles Rachael who was loved was still barren."
In the words of Shatta Wale "The fool is the last to know."
