Amissah Arthur, The Truth, Just The Truth, "So Help You God"

Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur in his attempt to douse the inferno raging on his so called Masters degree in Economics issue made a mistake by pouring petrol on the fire instead of water. He has raised more questions on his "Vice-Prez Amissah-Arthur Clears Air On Certificate" issue than he answered. For the first time in the annals of our democracy, the Presidential candidates were talking about the issues that are important to voters until the NDC found itself at the short end of the stick on the free secondary school education issue and decided to play the character assasination card.

They raised the question as to why Nana Akuffo Addo has failed to include on his Curiculum Vitae(CV) his days at the Oxford University which was brief and uneventful as the University Authorities has cleared the air that, Nana Akuffo Addo was not expelled. Now in the box to clear their names are the NDC Presidential candidate, John Mahama who allegedly sexually assaulted a girl when he was 13, he started really young and the Vice President who might have fraudulently used a certificate he did not have to secure employment, a criminal offence.

WHAT AIR DID HE CLEAR? NONE In an effort to clear the shenanigans surrounding his Masters degree controversy, this is what Mr Amissah Arthur said.

"The Vice President, in response however said “my first thesis was on health economics, on the economic costs of malaria. My supervisor, Richard Brooks, left Ghana just around the time I was finishing, and there was nobody who was willing or able to supervise my thesis. Dr. Buamad then offered to supervise another thesis, which I did. Dr Buamad then left for the University of Bayero in Nigeria. Every time I finished a chapter I will post it to him and then he will post it back... so it took some time. I finished the thesis in 1979 and then I was offered a job as a lecturer in the Department when the degree was awarded. The degree was awarded, I suspect or I believe, early in 1980 so anybody who is looking at the 1980 pass list in June will not see my name there because I would have been notified of the degree much earlier in January of 1980"

This answer to a serious issue is more in line to the proverbial THE DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK folklore. This is a serious issue because it is a felony crime to use a degree you don't have to secure employment and if Mr Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur Bekoe fails to show that he has a Masters degree, he stands to be charged with many fraud crimes since he has used that certificate to secure employment from many companies. Is it not strange this man has not collected his degree from the University for the past 32 years?

In some of his Biography reports, he reported receiving his M Sc in 1976 and 1980 but he was granted a Legon University scholarship in 1975 to pursue his Masters degree, usually a two years course. So if he finished in 1980, he took six years to finish a two years course? There is something that doesn't sound right and will not pass the smell test.

If Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur is telling us he finished his Masters degree course work in 1979 and has never seen his certificate, how did he prove to his numerous Employers that he actually finished his Masters degree course? Is Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur telling us he managed to get a Lecturers job at state college of Education at Anambra state in Nigeria without presenting his Masters degree certificate to the Authorities at that college? Below are some of the Autobiography reports as reported on various websites in cyberspace.
