Akufo-Addo walks the path Jesus walked – in Jerusalem

Act 1:8: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."****

What would it be like to stand at the very site Jesus went to on the night of his arrest? “Then Jesus came with them into a country place which is called Gethsemani. And he said to his disciples: Sit you here, till I go yonder and pray." (Mathew 26: 36)?****

Believers who have experienced a Holy Land pilgrimage consistently emphasize that the intensity of their emotions while walking the path walked by Jesus is too powerful for words.****

He has done the doable: Storming the holy land, Jerusalem – with his lovely family. He’s literally proven beyond all imaginations that he’s truly a humble and devout follower of Christ Jesus.****

His political schedule is extremely tight. The ongoing biometric registration is behaving erratically, characterized with barrage of violence, intimidations, as a result of the NDC well-oiled “Heroes Funds.” Yet, through a tough decision, he made the right choice: Choosing God – a bigger-than-life choice.****

We’ve come a long way as people that – not just rhetoric – we bear the actual fruit of the Almighty God, and literally walk in his word. This is more than a political campaign. We must worship God in truth and in spirit.* ***

Nana Akufo-Addo is tried, tested, a sought-after political leader, active in many humanitarian activities, and has helped people to get a fair shake.* ***

This is a time to celebrate our Lord’s resurrection and an opportunity of a renewed spiritual life. This is, also, to have a renewed and deep awareness of his presence and manifestation in our lives. With an already-demonstrated messianic zeal, he is coming out purified and don with the power and blessings of God – super human being.****

Nana Akufo-Addo stands in direct contrast to President Atta Mills’s hypocritical attitude.****

President Atta Mills has charged Ghanaians to pray for “peace” for the country, and “show gratitude to God by living according to His word.” Words the people have grown wary and tired to hear.****

President Atta Mills lacks the commitment or courage – or both –to walk his talk. ****

By their fruits, we shall know them. ****
