A dead goat has resurrected in Ghana!

Wonders, they say, will never end. A dead goat buried under tons of sand or rubbles on Wednesday, 7 December 2016, has miraculously resurrected in Ghana. This self-acclaimed sufferer from dead goat syndrome in the person of former President John Dramani Mahama has regained consciousness after lapsing into comatose at the declaration of Election 2016 results in which he suffered a massive defeat. He is now touring the whole country in the hope of courting the public sympathy and support to be re-elected as the flag bearer and subsequently, the presidential-candidate for his NDC party in a disguised unity walk.

There is no wonder that Ghana is seen in the eyes of the civilized Western world as a shithole country wallowing in abundance of shameful negativities if the markedly incompetent and most corrupt president in the political history of Ghana will so soon come out of his disgraceful election defeat to still have a following of large crowds on his stupid unity walks.

He said he would not listen to any Ghanaian who had never been the president of Ghana before; not even his “yen ntie obiaa” buddy, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who is openly alleged to have dubiously assisted him to win Election 2012 let alone, the electorates. Yes, Asantehene did assist him as alleged by many Ghanaians because from his own mouth, he once said to some Kumawu elders when he summoned them to his Manhyia Palace, “You can take the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute to court, it will go nowhere. If I had been able to install someone as the President of Ghana, it is not Kumawuhene that I can’t install”. What did he mean by this and who was he referring to as having been able to install as the President of Ghana, if it was not John Dramani Mahama that many Ghanaians came to believe that Asantehene had been a conduit to grease the palms of some Supreme Court judges sitting on the Election 2012 petition to deliver verdict in John Dramani Mahama’s favour?

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is still alive so anyone can verify from him if he did not say that in private to some Kumawu elders, especially the kingmakers, prior to the death of Kumawu Kontrehene. Because he had never been the President of Ghana before but a tribal “Overlord” of the Ashantis, former President Mahamma did not listen to his counsel which was surely as evil as his character is hence John Mahama getting pounded to pulp in Election 2016.

Why are Ghanaians so soon following this corrupt and clueless former President who presided over what infamously became as “create, loot and share” in the form of judgment debt payments to his NDC-led government cronies and dubious companies? Have Ghanaians such a short memory as former President Mahama himself used to tease us of hence his resolute determination not to listen to anyone even though they voted him into power? He listened only to his own infantile voice but not even that of God?

I really don’t blame some Ghanaians residing overseas who have decided not to have anything to do with Ghana but to mind their own business abroad; purchase their houses and raise their family abroad and to make their homes abroad in the belief that “baabiaa ye baabi na asase biaa nso nkyiri funu”. Simply put, every place that you feel convenient with can become your home and one can be buried anywhere when dead. Therefore, why waste their time on a country and people who do not want to develop as rational human beings but to choose to wallow in corruption and to glorify the elite that suppress them and embezzle state funds and assets?

Are Ghanaians not that intelligent, sorry to ask this question? I don’t mean to insult our corporate intelligence but for people to follow former President Mahama in his attempts to recapture power in 2020 baffles my gumption about the level of intelligence of Ghanaians and how we aspire to develop as a nation and a people. No wonder that Ghana is riding on that nonsensical “Ghana dee saa” mentality that allows the politicians to oppress us and to steal our money left, right, centre, backwards and forwards.

Should His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and NPP fail by the conclusion of the majority of Ghanaians, then left to me alone, a newly-formed political party should be given the nod by the Ghanaian electorates to govern Ghana but not the obviously known incompetent and corrupt John Dramani Mahama and his corrupt NDC lieutenants.

Send the dead goat back to the butchers to have him properly flayed, cut up, cooked and eaten to be finally ejected through our anus as faeces. Ghanaians should please not make a mistake to bring John Mahama back as President or else, you will have given him the licence to import Chinese into the country to spoil our forests, water bodies and pollute the air through their uncontrollable galamsey activities. Because he might have stolen a lot of money and has got his personal investments abroad, he does not care if Ghana waters will turn muddy to become not potable for after all, he has a foreign country to relocate to when things get worse in Ghana.

Those Ghanaians following him, please, be careful; think about your future and the posterity. Be farsighted but not so myopic to think about what you will only eat today. A word to the wise is enough!

Lest I forget, may I take this opportunity to ask Simon Osei-Mensah (Hon), the Ashanti Regional Minister, to steer clear of the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute to avoid any unbearable consequences. I am monitoring his undue involvements in the case with keen interest so he had better advise himself. We never voted for a change in government from NDC to NPP only to find some NPP members doing the same if not worse than the NDC hence the invigoration by former President Mahama to stage a comeback so soon.
