Accra, Jan. 6, GNA - The Registrar General's Department is asking all couples whose marriages were scheduled for Tuesday, January 10 to rescheduled their wedding dates.
A statement signed by Mr J.K. Harley, Chief State Attorney, said the rescheduling had become necessary because Tuesday had been declared a statutory holiday for the Muslim holiday of Eid-Ul-Adha.
"...All those whose marriages were scheduled for that day are to call on the Principal Registrar of Marriages to reschedule their wedding dates," it said.
