I’ve been a Christian all my life – Event Factory CEO Nabil Alhassan

At the mention of Mohammed Nabil Alhassan, one is tempted to make reference to a Muslim but that is not the case of the CEO of Event Factory Ghana.

The affable personality who has won the hearts of many for his dedication towards work and events throughout the country in an exclusive interview with Franky 5 on This Is Gospel on Hitz FM opened up about his faith despite bearing an Islamic name.

Explaining the reason behind the name, Nabil revealed he was born to a Muslim dad and a Christian mum. However, that did not prevent him from being a Christian from infancy.

He also stated he didn’t have to fight to choose a religion especially since he lived with the mum who is a Christian.

"I’ve been a Christian all my life. My dad’s side is Muslim. I grew up with my mum and she is a Christian...

"It wasn’t difficult for me since I was living with my mum. She never forced me to look at the other side. Because she is a Christian, she just gave me the opportunity to be who I want to be but when you look at the other side, they feel like they are losing someone to Christianity and it has been a big challenge because they speak to you and want you to convert because my dad is a Muslim," he said.

He advised parents to allow their children to choose whichever religion they felt comfortable with.
