Rising actor appeals to government agencies to support ‘Tetteh Quashie’ movie

Emmanuel Yeboah popularly known in the Ghana film industry as Cobby Jamper or Bediako in the hit TV series Abuburo Kosua is undoubtedly the fastest rising actor within the kumawood fraternity having been featured in almost every movie in recent times.

The actor who recently featured in the much talked about Tetteh Quashie movie as Jango, a senior guard of the cocoa plantation in Fernando Po, has made a passionate appeal to the creative arts ministry, Ghana tourism board, the COCOBOD among others to support the production of movies of national interest.

The Tetteh Quashie movie was shot recently in order to promote the history and culture of the nation.

He stressed that even though the movie has been shot, it still needs support in order to promote it to the rest of the world through premiers and other forms of promotion.

A very ambitious young man in life, Emmanuel Says, it is his hope to take his acting career to the highest level and make himself and Ghana proud by winning an Oscar or an international award in the near future.

He is at the moment on set playing a lead role in an upcoming TV series titled Yantah.
