A rare photo self-acclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale and rapper Criss Waddle invoking the spirit of God during the traditional wedding of Medikal and Fella Makafui has hit online, engendering conversation with regards to the spiritual life of the two musicians.

Shatta Wale and Criss Waddle, clad in white and grey respectively had stretched forth their right hands during a prayer session at the ceremony held at Adjiringanor, Saturday, when the lens of the camera captured them.

With each wearing beautiful spectacles, their demeanor communicated a simple message - 'we are at war with the devil!'

Shatta Wale and Criss Waddle locked horns in 2016 when each claimed ownership of the term 'Biegya' after they all released songs with the word as title.

Criss Waddle alleged that he was the first to have recorded a song with that title only for Shatta to ‘outsmart’ him. He further accused the dancehall artiste of using sorcery to stop the shine of other artistes he cannot compete with.

“This your smart di3 Adjoa smart oooo ?#?Bie? Gya (Open Fire) with Stonebwoy coming out tonight,” Criss Waddle wrote on Facebook but the response from Shatta Wale suggested that Waddle was not the creator of the term.

Few days later, Shatta Wale shot a music video for his version of "Bie Gya". It was shot in a studio set up and starred the top Shatta Movement Family team members including, Achipalago.

The famous ‘Adldas’ cannot be forgotten as Shatta Wale was subjected to ridicule for wearing a fake ‘Adidas’ apparel in the video while Criss Waddle was hailed for shooting a video estimated to have cost $20,000. The rivalry continued with both artistes releasing songs targeted at each other.
