Producer, artiste and CEO of the Money builders Inc. Music Group has launched his campaign on the significance of the festival and return of diasporan brothers back to the shores of Ghana as part of the ‘the Year of Return’ celebrations.

Championing the cause for this campaign as thousands of black people across the world journey their way back to the motherland, the prolific rap icon in an interview with StarrFM Online emphasized that Ghana is not just the gateway to Africa but also the spiritual home of all Africans worldwide.

The Year of Return 2019 is an initiative of the government of Ghana that is intended to encourage African diasporans to come to Africa (specifically Ghana) to settle and invest in the continent.

It was formally launched by President Akufo-Addo in September 2018 in Washington DC as a program for Africans in the diaspora to unite with Africans. Its year, 2019, is symbolic, as it commemorates 400 years since the first enslaved Africans touched down in Jamestown, Virginia in the United States.

In the same vain, 45th has released a masterpiece song titled ‘streets of Accra’ as a medium to introduce the capital of Ghana, Accra, to the diaporans.

The song with an accompanying video shows an aerial view of certain key suburbs of Accra, Ghanaian food as well as Ghanaian women.

The prolific producer who doubles as a rapper has once served as the former manager of artists such as Guru, Trigmatic, Kevin Beatz first came on the scene with his first single and music video ‘until dat day (the Luther King Prophecy) in 2012 which featured his hometown kinfolk Recognise Ali’ in a deep historic hip-hop masterwork.

Urging the orientation for the significance of the Year of Return as officially declared, the hip-hop maestro hopes this new song which previews the capital of Ghana will e significant to folks visiting from the rest of the world.
