DJ Edita adjudged best DJ in Western Region

DJ Edita who works with Takoradi-based, YFM won the best DJ in the Western Region award at the just ended Ghana DJ Awards 2019.

Born Richard Yeboah was declared the Best DJ in W/R by Ghana DJ Awards 2019 held at Accra International Conference Center on 2nd of November 2019.

This will go down as one of the best and memorable achievements of his life after really relishing this moment since he started DJing.

In an exclusive with www.ghgossip.com, DJ Edita indicated that he started his DJing career as a mobile DJ way back in JHS indicating that he used to work with Chorus Sound Ltd.

Nicknamed “The First Class DJ” he had to end his exploits with Chorus Soundz Ltd after he had admission to pursue Interior Designs and Technology at Takoradi Technical University where he graduated with First Class that earned him his nickname.

He indicated that while school, Y97.9FM Takoradi organized a reality Show dubbed “Y Discovery” which was geared towards unearthing young Presenters and DJ’s.

It’s was done live on-air and DJ Edita emerged as the winner for the DJs. As part of the winning package, he had 6months internship with Y97.9fm out of the hard work he was employed after.

His First show on Radio was Y Campus Express (YCEshow) with PmDePresenter and Later Friday Night mix was added.
