How Donald Trump triggered 'scam' stories on social media

For over a week now, many social media users have been sharing on their respective accounts, incidents and comments they consider as 'scam'.

While some highlighted 'tricks' employed by boys to sleep with ladies they've marked for 'execution', others used the opportunity to mock the 'deceitful' nature of politicians.

Sometime last week, U.S House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, launched an inquiry into President Donald Trump. The Democrats want inquiry into whether President Donald Trump abused his power by pushing Ukraine to investigate his political rival, Joe Biden.

At the center of the inquiry, which was launched last week, is a complaint from an unidentified intelligence agency official. The complaint accused President Trump of having "used the power of his office" to solicit foreign interference into Joe Biden, the 2020 Democratic frontrunner.

After the inquiry was launched, President Trump, as usual, took to twitter to call the impeachment inquiry the ‘greatest scam in the history of American politics’.

When some Ghanaians saw how the #scam was trending, they also decided to tell their own scam stories.

As hilarious as the stories are, one still wonders why, with all the problems we have in this country, people will take so much time and energy and make such a hashtag trend.

Then again, this is Ghana, and we play….too much…

Here is the tweet from Donald Trump
