The maiden edition of the Ghana Most Inspiring Women’s Award is set to happen September 14, 2019 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra.

The purpose of this award is to celebrate women breaking barriers for young vulnerable adolescent girls to also get to the top notch of life.

“AfricMedia Galaxy and Women in Aviation Ghana Chapter are in partnership to celebrate our distinguished women who have worked tirelessly to bringing a difference to our society, impacting generations and creating a learning space for the youth of this country especially young girls” Executive Director of AfricMedia Galaxy, Joseph Egyir Sarfo has stated.

The Ghana Most Inspiring Women’s Award also aims at developing sustainable strategies to identify mentors for these deprived young girls in the country.

The Executive Director of AfricMedia Galaxy indicated that a platform has been created to give exposure to the girls who lack inspiration and mentorship.

Mr Sarfo noted that the awards would be held annually to acknowledge successful Ghanaian women who experienced tough upbringings but did not allow the situation to weigh them down, adding that, his outfit will keep inviting deprived persons in rural areas to witness the event and be motivated.

He, therefore, called on the Gender Ministry, Ministry of Education, Corporate bodies among other key stakeholders to come to their aid in making this life-changing programme a success.
