Every musician should own an instrument – Bessa Simons

Legendary highlife artiste, Bessa Simons has urged all musicians to own an instrument no matter the genre of music they are in.

Speaking in an interview with Foster Romanus on e.TVGhana ‘s The Late Nite Celebrity Show he said: “Every musician must make it a point of urgency to own an instrument no matter the genre of music they find themselves in. In my hay days, I used to rehearsal 7 hours a day and if I miss 2 hours, I added it into the other days.I believe in natural talent and those who have little knowledge in music”.

Bessa went on to advise his colleagues that they should own an instrument so they become good instrumentalist alongside the natural talent.

“if you are a musician or singer when you make a hit song, you should go back and learn something or two about music in order to enrich their natural talent”.
