Comedian Khemikal and Waris raise the flag of Ghana high with excellent performance in Nigeria

Nigeria comedy is like the blueprint for many comedians in Africa. They [Nigerians] can boast of the most successful comedians and comedy industry in the continent.

This however hasn’t intimidated comedians from the other parts of the continent to realize their dream. Comedian Waris and Comedian Khemikal from Ghana.

The two who have had excellent careers over the years, were invited to perform at Funnybone Untamed 4 inside Ekoh Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria. Being on big stages such as this is no challenge for the two comedians, they have both excelled and shown that they deserve performing on such a stage.

Nothing other than excellence was expected from the Ghanaians reps, as they took turns at ripping the ribs out of their Nigerian audience. One may wonder, how Ghanaian comedians would get a room full of Nigerians to laugh just because, they may not relate to the things the comedians from Ghana would say. Just like Music, Comedy is also and international language, and the two Ghanaians sang their song so hilariously that they hit the nail right on the head with each passing joke.

The two have made Ghana proud and I believe this has opened the door for many of our other Ghanaian comedians to also have such an opportunity to show their creativity outside Ghana. Also performing on the night was IGOSAVE, Senator, Buchi, Dan D Humorous, Klint D Drunk, Kennyblaq, Odogwu, Omini, Mr Paul, Larry J and a musical performance by No Kissing Hit maker, Patoranking.

Comedian Waris and Khemikal have both made Ghana, they elite performance is a testament on how good the comedy industry in Ghana is thriving.
