Sensational gospel songster, Linda Yankah is set to release a powerful album titled, “Grace” at the Faith Chapel Assemblies of God, McCarthy Hills, in Accra this coming Sunday, April 28.

The yet-to-be-released album, which is her third music album since she began her music career about 10years now, is to give praise to God for His goodness and mercies.

“LY”, as she is affectionately called in the music industry, told this reporter in an exclusive interview she is not into music just to make money, but to win souls.

The new album has over six tracks on it, is available in both audio and video CDs and contained thrilling songs such as “Begye wo Aseda, Dzidula, Hym when the morning comes, Praise medley which consists of five songs in one among others.

The 34-year-old rising star said, she is a result oriented person who is determined to bring out nothing, but the best talent from her God.

According to Linda, she has been singing since childhood and was a member of singing groups including; Faith Voice, Shama Praise and a chorister in her church as well as performing at various events.

To her, doing gospel music is a call from God and a duty to encourage people, especially the youth as well as those who are depressed.

The rising star, advised the youth to be patience and that, at God’s own time, everyone’s desire would be fulfilled accordingly.

Aside music, Linda is also an entrepreneur involved in made in Ghana products and other businesses. She launched her maiden album in 2008.

The fast rising singer, a graduate of Pentecost University College in Accra, started her education at a remote village in the Adansi-Praeso District of the Ashanti Region and later moved to Ho in the Volta Region, where she completed her Senior High School (SHS) at the St Prospers College.

She said “using the gospel music to spread the word of God, has become my passion” and therefore, would not do anything unpleasant just to gain fame and popularity.

The songster said she is grateful to the Senior Pastor of Faith Chapel, Rev. Ben New-Life Zotoo and his wife whom she described as her “charitable parents” as well as Mr. Alexander Nartey for their continuous support and encouragement.
Linda said she is poised to lift up the image of her congregation high and that of all those who supported her to the glory of God.
