Shatta Wale threatens to assault legend Aka Blay

Musician Shatta Wale has threatened to physically abuse highlife legend Aka Blay wherever he meets him.

His statement comes following an interview Aka Blay granted Graphic Showbiz on April 13.

Aka stated that the “My Level” hitmaker serves as a bad influence on his young followers.


He cited vulgar words in his music and indecent behaviours, adding that Shatta Movement Family – the official fan army of Shatta Wale – copy him blindly.

“With his large fan base, I don’t expect Shatta Wale to use certain words and engage in indecent acts. I know he has the largest fan base in Ghana at the moment but what impact is he making on them?

“The youth are engaged in all sorts of bad activities because they see him as their role model and blindly copy what he does,”Aka Blay stated.

He advised him: “I expect a lot from him as the leader he claims to be because the youths are going wayward and I will blame it largely on him.”

But Shatta Wale responded by raining insults on him and threatening to slap him when they meet.

He took to Facebook on Tuesday night saying: “Some artiste just don’t to work hard and all they need is hype from my sweat ,so ibe slap dem go chop tek add the hype... Alka blay pray I don’t meet you ..it’s just slap I will give you fool ... aboaba aponkye m3333 [sic]!!!!”
