Controversial radio presenter, Prince ‘Don’ Tsegah is impressed with Maame Serwaa’s level of intellect and has subsequently entreated the young actress to impart some knowledge in colleague Rosemond Brown, known in showbiz circles as Akuapem Poloo.

Prince Tsegah who is a regular guest on Hitz FM’s morning show, Daybreak Hitz praised Maame Serwaa after her interview on the show.

According to him, Clara Benson, as the actress is known in real life, has demonstrated maturity, unlike Akuapem Poloo who has always exhibited gross infantile behaviour.

“I was telling her to go and mentor Akuapem Poloo so that Akuapem Poloo can learn some small [sense] from her. Because the kind of knowledge she has at her age is remarkable,” Tsegah said.

Akuapem Poloo shot to fame following the controversial dress she wore to the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. She has since been involved in many scandals for fame.

On Valentine’s Day, for instance, she posted raunchy pictures on her Instagram page to celebrate the occasion.

She was hit with a barrage of criticisms by a section of the public who argued that her level of obscenity was unwarranted.

In fact, the Apesemakahene of Mampong Akuapem, Nana Yirenkyi I condemned the picture, stressing that it was disrespectful for Akuapem Poloo to denigrate the respected image of Akuapems with her behaviour.

The actress in an interview stated that her nine years in the movie industry did not get her the attention of Ghanaians. Her decision to go berserk, according to her, has yielded results as she has become a household name.

A proud Akuapem Poloo said: “After school, I decided to go to Accra and make a living so I ventured into acting movies. I was featured in a lot of movies but I didn’t become popular until I started doing the stupid things that I am doing now. I do a lot of stupid things to make people laugh out their worries.

“I started taking half-naked videos, talked about Efia Odo and Fella Makafui issue. Moesha’s case, John Dumelo and other issues pushed me to the limelight. Nowadays, people invite me to a lot of programs. I have won two awards”.
