Ever since Obaapa Christy’s latest song “W’asue me” was released, there have been rumors that the respected gospel musician recorded the song as a diss song for her ex-husband, Pastor Love.

But for the first time, Obaapa Christy has broken her silence on the inspiration behind the song and it has nothing to do with Pastor Love.

According to Obaapa Christy formerly Christiana Love, growing up she went through hell but God has relieved her of all the burden she went through by crowning her with success and everything she ever lacked; that is what the song talks about.

She went on to talk about all the people who have confessed to her the song touched them because of the burden they have been through but now God has taken all the burden away in a miraculous and unexpected way.

She insisted the song has nothing to do with her ex-husband and she will never record a diss for her ex-husband irrespective of their differences.

Obaapa Christy made these revelations about the song, her husband and answered the questions bothering everyone when she spoke with Roman Fada of Atinka FM on 21st February 2019.
